  3. I never got a real fit on either the Kirk or Calfee, and as I'm starting to put in a couple hundred miles a week, I got both tweaked to perfection the other day by Freddie of F2 Performance Labs out of Miami, who was nice enough to make the trip up so I didn't have to deal with I-95 traffic post work. Good news, other than I'm even more in love with both bikes, is that he turned me onto Solestar insoles. With my problem feet, I've had five sets of insoles, including ones my podiatrist molded, and I was shocked on what a difference these made. I'm trying out both the road and mountain bike, and I'm liking the mountain biking ones (I have demos). They just feel a bit more stable, for lack of better words. Bad news, for my wallet, is that he also turned me on to Bont Vaypor S shoes, which made my Sidi's feel like floppy, canvas Keds. I'll be getting them in black. At least I haven't bought any new bikes in a couple years Check these out. I swear they're worth it: http://www.solestar.de I miss riding with the Florida crew, but I'm having fun riding these days. Feel good and strong. Now to lose 30 pounds.........
  4. Took Andrew driving (he got his learner's permit a couple weeks ago), 3rd time and first in some minor traffic (side roads and grocery store parking lot). He's done alright on smaller, empty parking lot driving. This was pretty good, too....
  5. Enjoy the ride Vicki. I am jealous, I wish I had time for 50 miles a week much less 200

I think it's better to just get the connectors on either end of a box. I suppose it's easy to buy the components separately and find a nice Hammond case to use. I think this is a nice project for a rainy day. Any experience controlling these via a digital output and then routing signal to the other full range speakers via an analogue output? I would have to do something like this as well. Hm. Gets one thinking.
  7. RIP Quest. I have no doubt he had the best life possible with you.
  8. I like riding that road. Don't run me over when I get back into riding.
  9. HBO Comedy Half Hour: Louis CK. Man, he's come a long way.
  10. An original Ducati, with a Brooks Saddle. Studebaker Pickup
  11. Okay, I have determined that the S4 is not boring, the roads I get to drive on regularly are boring. Made it to Katie's Cars & Coffee this morning and left with a bunch of guys on Georgetown Pike at seriously fun speed. For some reason a large group of cyclists decided to ride this windy, zero shoulder, road this morning and they were all fat old guys. Made for some interesting driving as everyone coming towards us was jumping out to pass the bikes and not always gauging how much time they had to make the pass. Interesting. One for Dan

^ not cool man. Reminders of the people you've lost are at minimum bittersweet.
  13. This http://www.lfo.org.uk/tristan-und-isolde/. Awesome.
  14. While nothing amazing I do seem to have no shortage of weird bugs around here. I really need to invest in a proper macro, Sigma 105mm maybe.
  15. 13.5 miles today, but twice as much climbing as the last one. It was more on the road than the rail trail this time as well. I spent the whole time wanting to quit, so I guess that's a good thing (because I didn't).
