I had a pair of atc50A in birdseye maple many years ago. ATC are based in Stroud which is not far from me, they showed me round the factory while I had the drivers upgraded and gave me these as well as a demo of a preproduction pair of a new model. They didn’t charge me for the upgraded drivers.

Wow, what a similar morning we've had! Except for the bike. And most of my miles were between the couch and the fridge. But other than that...

Legs will be feeling this for a bit. Notice the one minute and thirty seven second difference between moving and elapsed times. I did not stop other than for a dropped chain and at a few ride lights. I should have eaten more and needed more fluids but all in all, survivied ok and feel ready for the century in a couple weeks.

Yes, they are so greedy. It's going to be difficult to time the market or get a good value because they will withdraw the old stock availability as soon as possible, so you can't count on highly-discounted old stock to stay around. There have also been compatibility problems reported with old games using Windows 11's new scheduler and Alder Lake – not all developers of old games are in business any more, so it remains to be seen if some old games will remain incompatible (or poorly optimized) indefinitely on the new systems.
