  1. I think season 2 is better than 1...It could be the addition of a new writer...MY SISTER!...
  2. Well, I did some reading and my birthday is coming up so Claire said we should go for the Piston Pro X. It's sweet. We have fenders and tail lights so I have to add extra straps just as belt and suspenders safety. It seems tight and stable without them but I used rubber coated giant twist ties that Steve used in his truck so I didn't need to buy $40 worth of Küat "fender kits" aka four velco straps. One drawback is that the car considers this to be a trailer and defeats a bunch of features that would be missed on long drives. I'm going to figure out if there is a way to work around that.
  3. RIP Karen. May her memory be a blessing to you and Andrew and your extended family. I will be toasting Karen and your family with a manhattan, my dearly departed mother's favorite cocktail. Like Nate said, call any time if you need an ear on west coast time.
  4. So sorry for your loss, Todd. My thoughts are with you and Andrew and everyone else who loved Karen. Today is my late Mom's birthday, so every year now I will think of her and your lovely wife.
  5. And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out by Yo La Tengo (2000) https://album.link/rgfjshvn4bxsv Example: Sometimes you just need a little 2000 indie to mellow out your day... Worked well. Also staying away from my phone and taking a walk on the volcano...
  6. RIP, Karen. My condolences especially to you and your son, Todd. And to other family members, friends, and all those whose life she touched and will miss her too. There is never enough time with those who we love.
  7. So sorry for your loss, Todd. Mourn the loss as you are able and I’m so very glad that you and Andrew were able to say goodbye. Vent here if it helps or you’ve got my actual phone number if you need an ear. Cherish the life that you had with her, nothing will ever change that. But don’t spend the rest of yours dwelling on time you didn’t get.
  8. I (or rather AI) Tried ...
  9. It's not just a Kia, it's a (Official logo's if you want to make any matching items)

  21. vinyl me please reissue. Had this thing on pre-order from last year
  22. Just finished S02 of Silo I think it's slow at times, but overall the story is pretty interesting. Maybe I should read the books, this season's end is the epitome of a cliffhanger.
  23. JC was our best ex-president. I worked for him 1994, building houses in Mississippi.
  24. RIP to my beautiful wife Karen Greenfield. She passed peacefully overnight, after we all said our goodbyes, as well as having other family and some friends talk to her on speakerphone as well. Thank you all for your compassion and kind words, and for letting me vent. Our son Andrew and I will of course go on, but there is already an ache I have, reflected in a large and emptier house. Please raise a glass at some point for her and our family, and think kindly on a wonderful and beautiful woman.
  25. RIP Gene Hackman (95), and uhhh... his wife and his dog. Nothing to see here, folks, move along...
