  1. Justin, you can crash at my house. I have one extra bedroom that hasn't been given away to the hobbies.

  3. OK, then. Get something from HeadAmp or ecp audio (brand new Black Diamond amps shipping soon) or call Todd at ttvjaudio.com and buy something he says is good with your cans. Not too difficult.

  4. I wish I had taken a pic of our dinner but we were too hungry. Brisket, pulled pork, and spare ribs smoked to awesomeness.

  7. Thanks for joining Head-Case. I'm glad you're here. That said, you should be aware that this isn't your typical internet forum. We're not here so that you'll have another place to sell your stuff. We're not looking for people trying to pad their post counts, or demonstrate their ability to find witty things on the internet. If you've come here looking for advice on which headphones to buy, perhaps you should check out http://www.innerfidelity.com. Tyll Hertsens, founder of Head-Room and long time community giant is the proprietor there, and does everything he can to ensure that accurate information is disseminated about headphones at every level. This is predominantly a place for friends to discuss music, audio gear, and whatever else tickles our fancy. We are sometimes quite rude, often irreverant, and regularly abusive. Think of it like the corner bar where everyone knows each other. Don't mistake our familiarity with each other as familiarity with you, even if you've seen our names in other locations before. Spend some time reading before you start to post. Get familiar with what is going on, and who the various people are. Don't just jump right into the fray. This is your only warning, but I hope you can participate. There's a lot of good information, and more importantly, good people here.

  9. I like Audez'e, they are the only company that makes flagship headphones that don't murder your ears with MOAR TREBLE.

  13. Between yesterday mid afternoon and about 11:30 today we had three of Peter's friends over for an overnight backyard camping extravaganza. I now have a much better appreciation for the destructive power of a thermonuclear device.

  14. I will always respond to homophobic diatribe, whether online or in person. But I always try to be calm and non-threatening. Otherwise it's just more fuel for the fire. Sometimes it's hard to stay level headed, but it's essential to get people to stop and listen. Even I have been turned off by militant gays spewing reverse hate.

  15. I'm not a runner. I enjoy it but everytime I start, about 2-3 months in I hurt myself somehow. Shin splints, toe issues, something. I've gone and gotten the right shoes etc. Maybe I just run wrong. Same thing happened to my Dad, and he switched to stationary bike. I row now, not as much as I should but some is better than none, and I concur Disclosure is AWESOME music to exercise to. As far as camping at Bonnaroo is concerned, I haven't camped the past two years. I stay in a hotel in Murfreesboro. Its about a 30 minute drive, and I just park in day parking. Booked a room at Baymont Inn for around $70/night this year. Usually I go from about 3pm to 3am, give or take an hour. I did the camping thing in 2003 and 2004 and it is brutal, never again. So if you and Alison ever want to go to Bonnaroo, this year or another year, you have a sober driver happy to assist in your commute back to your hotel. I think I'll continue to go to Bonnaroo every year until I am physically incapable of doing so.
