Thanks, everyone! Thanks for starting the thread, Doug! Al, awesome card. Lovin' the pimp and Mac Daddy posts (Bryan, too ...) Even tho y'all be crazy. Just cuz some girl wanted to play pinball ... Mike, no need to crash into my glass door just for my birthday! I think your forehead imprint is still there! Just glad no blood or lawyers involved! Unfortunately, Monday is my long work day, so have been at the office all day and very busy. This weekend, though, Anne and the kids were very nice and considered it my birthday weekend. I got to choose dinner out on Saturday and chose Honky Tonk grill, one of my favorite BBQ/rib places. http://honkytonkbbqchicago.com/ Anne baked her homemade carrot cake, with lots of cream cheese frosting. She also got me a flask with a headphone decal on it to carry around the booze I learn about on HC, a Dad shaped desktop picture frame with lots of awesome family pics in it, and an educational book on craft beers (can't remember the title right now, and I'm at the office still... ) It was a nice weekend. Today ... not so nice, but maybe when I finally get home, it'll be nice! Opening this thread has been the best part of today ... you guys are great!- Deals
Haven't cooked anything yet, but I have to say, that's a really nice looking pan for $29! It's in the oven right now getting its second layer of Crisco.- Fuck in snow
Maybe just a plain old space heater. If you're worried about fires, the oil filled radiators with safety circuits are pretty safe (I think). We have one and have had good luck with it. It heats more slowly, but is good at maintaining a temperature, and I think are safer than the ones that glow red hot. http://www.amazon.com/DeLonghi-EW7707CM-Safeheat-ComforTemp-Oil-Filled/dp/B000TGDGLU/ref=pd_sbs_hg_1- And now what did you do TODAY?
Really great, Greg! My wife did stuff like that in college, and they are still some of the best memories and friendships she's made in her life! Kudos to her for the goodness she is spreading. I think and hope that she will end up being rewarded in unexpected ways ...- Fuck in snow
Sux, Jacob. The only solution I ever found for that was what Dan did ... pull out the unit and close the window. You can't get it from the jnside? Or ask the landlord to get it?- Fuck in snow
Yup, that's what our back yard and porch look like, Mike! Except for the psychedelic snow flakes. School is closed for the kids today. And they're not expected to attend via the computer!- Deals

Really cool, Brent! Congrats CJ! I wouldn't worry too much about the C in careers. Somehow I don't think too many residencies will be very concerned about that!- Post Your Pet

I've never had luck with online ticket sales of that sort, but I'll put it on my calendar. Also, long shot, but text me on the local ticket day, and I'll see if I can drive out.- Tapatalk pro ...blem

Thanks x 3. So I can run an ethernet cable to the bridge... Then I can run Amarra, set the sound output to Amarra on the Mini and boom, music? That would be sweet. Although no DLNA, I suppose. But then there's plenty of remote apps for iTunes... - Happy Birthday, Dr. John (jvlgato)
