The little information we do have is Apple expects the transition to take two years and there are some “very exciting Intel-based Macs coming”, so odds lean that every line has another generation coming, no? Course we don’t know the specs. Personally, it would depend on how dependent one is on software that could be slow to upgrade. Fortunately, cloud-based services makes labored enterprise software less an issue that last time, but I still remember my perfectly fine G4 tower no longer getting the good stuff more than any bugs on the subsequent MacBook (besides battery swelling), so sign me up as a guinea pig. Am I the only one feeling old we’re going through a transition again?

My goal is to live through two more CPU-architecture transitions! And David Lynch is not going to be happy with the PiP iPhone functionality. Looking forward to PiPiP.

I’ve moved to stronger psilocybins and now enchanting sirens follow me wherever I go.

I may have just hit the rails part, and agree on likability, though at least part of that is probably the differences between the paths/general stories covered (and if rumors are true it’s going to get darker in three). Kinda like if Seinfeld was a season of, well Seinfeld, and then a season of its final episode.

Speaking of super fun series, one of the pluses of HBO becoming HBOMax is the Warner/TBS tie in, so Search Party seasons one and two are widely available before season three hits in a few weeks (season four already deep in production). Been drinking in season two around work this week.

It was destiny! In season 2 episode 3 of A Series of Unfortunate Events (which I believe maps over to book #612), they introduced Esmé Squalor, clearly named after the Salinger short For Esmé, with Love and Squalor, which a certain other Esmé is named for. She just smiled the whole episode.
