Anybody else's HD800 earpads getting a little shiny and sticky? Mine are but just on the bottom-rear. They shed a little if I rub them there. I'm the second owner so I'm wondering if maybe the previous guy had a habit of slathering on Moose Mousse? Luckily I noticed that the pads are about $75 a pair which seems reasonable.

Just finished Fortitude available on Amazon Prime. One of those shows that makes you want to watch "just one more episode tonight" so the 12 episodes go by in a flash. Some good frozen tundra fare complete with Stanley Tucci and a wooly mammoth! I'd give it 7 out of 10.

That sucks about Manor! I guess it's no surprise though. IMHO the FIA or maybe even Liberty would do well to make sure that a bottom rung team like them is always fielding a cars. It must be very thankless to "hope" that both your entries don't finish in the last places but someone has to be there. I think that the recent success of Toro Rosso show how much a development team adds to the sport.

Nice find! I aways wanted an SP10 try. I'm sure you know that there are lots of resources for parts and extreme custom plinths etc. The EMT 900 series broadcast tables are very collectable so the prices are kind of nuts. Very cool looking but your SP10 should kick it's butt.

Lots of ripples from the Liberty Media takeover of F1. I'm encouraged to see them putting Ross Brawn in charge of the "technical aspects" of the sport but we shall see the reality of these changes pretty soon. I was very touched by Obama's farewell speech. Sometimes I can hardly believe how far forward we've gone in the last 8 years. And even though I can't deny that there will be serious ground lost during Trump's 4 years, I'm still hopeful that some good will come out of it.

Power lines scare the hell out of me. Knew a guy whose car got trapped when a tree went down in the Santa Cruz mountains. Stepped out of his car onto a line and got smoked before he even got out the car. Be safe up there!
