Went to a local museum today with wife and son. There was a special exhibit on hats. Not truly my cup of tea, but some very "creative" designs. This was many people's favorite apparently:

Just catching up on this....if you are thinking tall and thin, you may find a good deal on a used pair of Silverline Preludes. I have the rev 1 version, and find them easy to drive with pretty deep bass..... EDIT: none on Audiogon now, but I've seen them (rev 1's) for as little as $500/pair.

Wow, that could be an great desktop or small room system, Nate, combining the 5's or 6's with the XDA-2 DAC (also on sale for $349)....may need to look into that!

That is good work, Nate, nicely done. We bought things (a bench with a storage compartment and a nice cherry hangar/storage wall-mounted piece) to solve the issue. I can be Mr. Put-it-together-or-hang-it-up, but not Mr DIY'er

Looks great! The first time I went to Hong Kong, one of the locals brought me to a Congee place, a little long narrow hole in the wall. I had mine with pork and (something else "safe" but forgot), his was Congee with Pig's Blood and Thousand Year Egg. He let me try it, quite tasty! Wish the suburbs where I live had Congee. Everything out here is Americanized Asian food....even the Hong Kong fast food was more tasty.....need to get into Chinatown someday soon.....
