  1. Wet shaving is the way go! That sizable layer of dead skin and oil are well taken care of with a good shaving cream like Proraso and a good boar or badger brush.
  2. I wouldn't order the vinyl based on previous experiences with her vinyl albums. I have transferred a total of 6 Neko Case albums (2 from a member here - the other 4 were all Fox Confessor for a total of 5 Fox Confessors and 1 other album) and all were very similar in quality. Getting them to sound Hi-Fi is really hard and take a while to fix up. My thought is that the vinyl probably uses the same CD master. After hearing the CD of Middle Cyclone, I think you could do better with a remaster from the CD than from the vinyl. I think I have done a nice reworking of the sound but I am still waiting to hear from 9 out 12 people who got samples to judge on quality control.

That is one of my favorite photographs of all time.
  4. LOL! If I were Radiohead - I probably would have done the same thing. Anyway...Back on topic: Remastered and compiled from the original vinyl albums.
  5. Just finished remastering this! It's an awesome album.
  6. You get a golden star!
  7. Never thought I would see Large Marge in a headphone amp thread.
  8. Some of my favorites: Chuck's tears can cure cancer. Too bad he never cries. When Chuck Norris does push ups, he doesn't push up, he pushes the earth down. When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris. Google won't search for Chuck Norris because it knows you don't find Chuck Norris, he finds you!
  9. Not really. They are helping me build it. However, I have no funds at the time. I need something really fast for the following: 1. Audio processing is very demanding. 2. I want to play Counter Strike Source and Call of Duty 4. EDIT: I think all I have at the moment is a 500 GB hard drive (which was donated by Ausburger) and a cool case (donated by Iron Dreamer).

  12. Tell me about it!!! I got nothin'!!! I need $800 for a new 'puter and $300 for the DAC. That's a total of $1,100.00 Total I have saved so far....$20.00 and $60 I got coming in from a remaster job. So...$80!!! I only need $1,020 more! I'm gonna go shoot myself now. Anybody want to trade money for music?
  13. Damn, I really want one but I am too poor at the moment.
  14. Very nice case indeed! Couldn't have done it better myself!

My old boss actually believed in that crap. He not only sent in the application but also purchased a nice, faux leather bound book with a huge list in it for the cheap price of $100!!!!
  17. Currently into a hardcore Sinatra phase. Starting to get burned out and moving into a mish-mash, random shuffle phase.
  18. "The Summer Wind" sounds glorious! (after remastering)
  19. I can't wait until these things become affordable. I would love to have a 4TB version.
  20. I need one of those babies!!!!
  21. Happy belated birthday!
