Awesome news.- New Year, new diet!
Well - it's been a little over a week and I have lost nearly 10 lbs. I feel great and many problems I had are starting to slowly fade away. I went for my 1 week check-up and the doc was very happy with my progress. Blood pressure is down and my weight is down. If I can get my high school pants to fit, then I'll be very happy. I'm going to stick to this diet hardcore and loosen it up after two weeks or so if I feel the need. As of now, I'm very used to it and I actually like it now. I have to REMEMBER to eat because I don't get hungry and I get no food cravings at all. I'm staying positive so far, but there is still a long way to go.- Happy birthday LFF
Thanks a bunch everyone! Your wishes are much appreciated!!- HD800? Another rumor?
I will be looking forward to hearing these at the upcoming national meet. Hope they beat the HD-600's.- slow forum
- New Year, new diet!
I agree with what most of you guys are saying. This diet is a two week thing then I have to go back to doc's office for another check-up. I guess what I will eventually do is keep a balanced diet with little or no fast food. I don't want this to be a short term thing since heart disease runs in my family. I am almost a week into this and I have had no cravings and am not as hungry as I used to be. I also feel rather good too! I have avoided getting on the scale as I want to see the difference at the end of the two weeks.- What are you EATING right now?
Steamed corn, broccoli and some grilled chicken.- How has your rig changed in 2008? And do you have any plans for 2009?
2008: Purchased the following: NOTHING 2009 plans: I have no idea. I would like to upgrade to a new computer. The current computer was built in 2000 and uses RD-Ram and a P-4 running at 2.4Ghz. It's slower than a snail. That is my main priority. Next on my list is to possibly get a pair of electrostatic headphones. I have never owned a pair and would like to get some. That's about it.- Official Head-Case Audio Confessional (post your (audio)sins here)
Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I have spent the last year listening and attempting to perfect many, many albums - both for customers and myself. I obsess over the sound regardless of genre. I spend hours on end tinkering with the EQ until I get all my music to sound life-like and good. Then, having heard it so many times, I resort to backing it up and not listening to it for months. I refuse to remaster for charity. I also envy Mr. Aardvark's jazz collection. I envy Augsburger's cool sounding DAC and digital rig. I envy most peoples DIY skills here and always lust over the pics of DIY amps, dacs and speakers. Heaven, have mercy on me!!!- What are you listening to Part Two
One of my all-time favorite albums! I love it!- My new vinyl setup
I love when people do this! Really puts vintage gear into perspective.- What are you listening to Part Two
That cover freaks me out.- My new vinyl setup
Lucky you! Take care of them.- My new vinyl setup
I know! Before I bought the 4311's (consumer version was the L100) I was looking to buy a pair of the L65's. Never found some and being impatient, went with the 4311's. Never wanted another speaker ever since (except maybe for a pair of WATT/Puppy).- My new vinyl setup
Not bad! I have 4 4311's set up as inverted pairs. EDIT: BTW, I think Hoffman has publicly said he likes the L65's.- My new vinyl setup
Which JBL's?- My new vinyl setup
Looks like an awesome vintage rig. Hook that up some vintage JBL's and you'll have an AWESOME sound! I like Garrard tables a lot. Still waiting to find a minty 301 or 401 for cheap.- Audio Nirvana
LOOKING GREAT! Wish I could build me some speakers.- slow forum
Good to know. I always ask questions.- New Year, new diet!
Well - day 3 is almost over and I am happy to say that I no longer have cravings. Regardless, I HATE this fucking diet! Had some corn today as well as some broccoli, potatoes and cucumber and that filled me up rather well. Good thing is that I feel like I have a bit more energy. - slow forum
