  1. Back to this threads regularly scheduled purpose:
  2. Your being a bit too general it's a L3000 party not an AT party
  3. Thats why I love them, most of my music just sounds "right" with the L3000
  4. Yeah I get music direct, audio advisor, mapleshade and I think one more.
  5. Also check out newegg their prices are usually very good and their service is great.
  6. Thats why it's a good idea to check the header info on e-mails like that.
  7. Ok this one is my comcast cable at home. My previous post was from a 100mbit server that I run .
  8. The only thing you might have to pay is a brokerage fee if it's a Fedex or UPS shipment. With Fedex they'll just send you a bill a couple weeks later.
  9. Yeah this sucks I'm a huge fan of The Gathering as well.
  10. Well I think I'm the only one here thats actually done any business with GNSC and yes I think the mods they do on the Opus 21 are really good but that doesn't mean I'd take their word on anything else.
  11. Bleh bad choice w/ the B-52, it's just two Raptors strapped together and I'm not a fan of the Raptor at all.
  12. I like HP and Epson for general all around printing, but if you print a lot of photos I'd probably go with Canon. Avoid lexmark at all costs it's utter junk.
  13. L3000 but they don't isolate a ton. If you want to make sure you block out all noise check out some of the high end IEM's.
  14. It's actually not a touchscreen in the way your thinking about it. It uses a system of cameras (i think 9 of them) in this particular demo of the tech. Wouldn't worry too much about the monitor thing as I doubt we'll see tech like this trickle down to the consumer level for another 5-10 years at which point I'm sure there will be plenty of nice big HDTV's w/ wireless capabilities built in.
  15. Who said anything about needing to use a keyboard or mouse with this . The whole idea of the thing is a change in the way we interface with computers. LOL I really wouldn't worry about USB by the time something like this hits the consumer level in 5-10 years everything will be wireless anyways.
  16. Kind of strange that they did that, I mean even though the 580s are discontinued I'm surprised they don't have parts around to do warranty repairs with. You could always sell the 595's and try to get a couple used pairs of 580s with the money you get. IMO the 595's are very much a sonic downgrade they are one of my least favorite phones.
  17. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/industry/4217348.html Pretty cool stuff I could really see something like this being the direction that computing goes in the relatively near future.
  18. But everyone wants to be like me
  19. Yep I had the GNSC Reference Mods done to my Opus 21 and it really is an amazing player. You'd be hard pressed to beat it for less than $10K.
  20. I think you should actually do this in steps, first thing I would do is drop about 5-7k on a killer source and see how well your balanced desktop and 650's scale up with that. Then you might want to try out other headphones and see what you end up liking best. After that upgrade the amp if necessary.
  21. stab billy in the eye with it?
  22. Oh that's easy he just had one of his boys take the rap for him.
  23. When I bought my L3000 a few years back, I sold my PS-1's to do so. Haven't looked back since.
