  1. I used Nichi KW... I guess there is no fixed rule, we have used capacitors that we know.
  2. I bought them and everything was perfect. I think it was about BC141-16 ?
  3. Thanks guys. My idea is to have three normal inputs (1 XLR +2 SE) plus a MM preamp (in my case a VSPS) AND three different types of outputs (and a mute): 1º Un/bal + pot. (It´s like a "direct" output) 2º Un/bal + pot + KG Diamond buffer MKII 3º Un/bal + pot + KG Diamond buffer MKII + dc Caps. So you can have three "different" types of sound. The appearance is not as good as I would like ? but it works (which is the important thing) although I still have some things to finish. Edit: Did I say that I like blue LEDs? ?☺️?
  4. Interesting. I also have some Lambda Pro ! If you do not mind. Could you describe the sound a bit in comparison?
  5. My preamp. I'm still working on it.
  6. But the problem of using adapters here is the space they occupy. This afternoon I will post a picture of how my preamp one is going.
  7. No, I was lucky I was able to find BC546CFA (Mouser) and BC556C (musical equipment and electronic store of my city) from "On Semi" but remember that I could only matched NPN with NPN and PNP with PNP. If you are not sure, you can buy some and measure them. Maybe you're lucky.
  8. I have wanted to listen to some guys from Liverpool... Do you know them?
  9. If you don´t find C grade, I used BTA and I hadn't problems with un/bal boards (I used sand with 500Hfe). Edit: I mean CFA and C
  10. Well, better than someone in the Koss technical service know this information because I'm afraid that soon they will have a lot of work. It´ll be interesting to read the comments on this headset in a few months.
  11. Why do not you use OPA445 directly? You will save time and money. Buy them from a Texas provider like Mouser.
  12. I'm not in a hurry to buy it, I was just surprised by Birgir's comment and Massdrop's offer. If I remember correctly, the last time I looked at the prices of the ESP950, these were arround 900 ~ 1000 $. By the way, the standard version comes with leather (or similar) pads
  13. Interesting, but would not it be a bit stupid on Koss's part? Those guys are supposed to have something already experienced with electrostatic. I repeat that I am asking because I have no idea. ?
  14. Do not you think it's a good purchase? ? I speak from ignorance. For $ 500 it does not seem that they are bad.
  15. Limp Bizkit "Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water"
  16. if only has 3 months… Yes, possibly the dealer does that. Even so, it seems very suspicious that a modern bicycle burns the bearings.
  17. Oh sorry. I have not seen your photos well. So it's simpler, Do you have a "torno" or CNC machine on your area? A "torno" could rectify and align the frame quickly and for very little money. *I'm sorry I do not know how to say "torno" machine in English.
