  1. While both of these are beautiful pieces, neither strikes me as being very easy to dance to.

Too bad they didn't call it "Snidely Whiplash Audio". Maybe they are ambulance chasers?
  3. "Twist and Shout". What could be easier to dance to than that?
  4. Since nobody else had posted about it, I thought that I might be the only one. So I tried it with, cough, IE. It worked there. I tried killing and restarting all my Firefox instances and nothing changed. So I rebooted and, voila, it's working now. So somehow Firefox decided it was a bad URL and mucked with it or ...? Anyway, now it works for me.
  5. I noticed that I am getting the alt string rather than the icon for being a subscribed to a thread. So I took a look at the http source to find the URL for the gif. It's http://www.head-case.org/forums/images/misc/subscribed.gif. When trying to view the gif directly with that URL, I get a File Not Found error. Since everything else is working for me, I assume that something has happened to this link. Is anything wrong there?
  6. To me, Meier has the reputation for making solid, but unspectacular sounding amps. I still have a Headfive that was my first headamp. I agree with you about it and it was competitive at its price. I listened to Hiroshi's (Fungi) opera and was very disappointed with it. It didn't sound as good to me as the Headfive. IMO, it was totally non-competitive at its price point. Note that I only listened to the amp side. I never heard its DAC but the Opera DAC was universally panned, making it a worse deal at its price. When I think about buying high end amps, I don't think about buying Meier.

    Deals

I'm sure that they would. But why are you posting about it here? This is the "Deals" thread. A request like that should be in the "Bend over" thread.

This is a modern hotel. I'm sure that they have roll-away beds.

Neither is Stacy, yet somehow she does. She's the one that pushed for going to this concert.

Yay! Stacy and I are going to the Fleetwood Mac concert at Staples Center on Thursday evening and then heading for the hotel. What time do you arrive in LA. Maybe you'd like to go and possibly get a ticket? I'll be checking into the hotel before going to the concert so would provide transportation for you. Depending on your time of arrival I could pick you up. Either way, Stacy and I are looking forward to seeing you again.
  11. You should check Iceland. There are probably 59 left there.
  12. Did Todd have an HD800 to throw into the mix? A PS1000/HD800 comparison is what the headphone world is waiting for.
  13. Samsung SWA-4000 transmitting module and wireless receiving amplifier.
  14. I'm just teasing Stephen a little. It's no big deal.
  15. What about MilSpec fingernail polish?

For Greg, the real problem is that after having a transplant, alcohol is permanently off the menu. Of course, he would be popular with his wine loving friends when he divided up his collection among them.
  17. Even better, have the party for him at Disneyland.
  18. Is it the switch box that Stephen is going to tell me how to make? Darn. Still waiting.

No Vicodin and alcohol unless you are tired of your liver and want a new one.

Absolutely. We'll all be numb by the time we hit San Francisco.
  21. And multi-layer boards.
  22. You think?
  23. Wouldn't you go all the way to the right (no attenuation) and then count each click to the left from there? Actually, that makes it harder. It's a long way to send back to Justin. It should be easy to find a competent tech locally to fix the ES-1. Just get the RK-50. It definitely fits.
  24. Yeah, it's probably be doable if he cased it in a shoe box.
