  1. Justin and his wife, Morgan Fairchild, promise it by December. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Love your signature. How about another line below it: "If Descartes was correct, Peter Pinna doesn't exist!"

Thanks, I missed it totally. In fact, I was tempted to reply that we had developed our own Rick. Glad we haven't.
  4. Hey Ric, first things first. Here is the thread on HF. It was referred to here in the "Favorite Posts ..." thread. He managed to get both of his accounts banned on HF. While that's really no trick, I believe it's warranted in this case. Be warned, this thread is really long. The reason I ignored your smiley is that you spent the entire post defending him. To me, the last part was an attempt to trivialize something that I don't find trivial. He used multiple accounts when there was really no reason to do so. I wonder what he'll do when he needs money fast.

Do whatever you think is right. I was just responding to other sports related posts. This is kind of a catch-all topic, so it probably belongs here as much as many of the posts. However, if it would make you feel better or powerful to move it, have at it. It doesn't matter to me.
  6. Smiley aside, what does the time he has equipment have to do with morality. I don't really care if he made a profit or not. I don't care if he is a flipper trying to make a profit or not. What is morally wrong is that he used multiple accounts, sometimes to bid against others for things he was selling in an attempt to raise the price. He would also use multiple accounts to talk up the product he was selling. This kind of action is morally inexcusable. Lastly, I don't really care if anybody still buys from him. Now that he has been outed, it's anybody's choice. As I said in my original post, he hasn't totally cheated anybody yet, so you'll probably get what you buy. I hope that it remains true when the interest starts on his credit card and he gets more desperate to pay it off.
  7. You mean financial counseling, right? So you can afford more wine. Maybe you should schedule a meeting with yourself?

You do this very well. I hear that Jude is looking for moderators so he can open the new forums. Maybe you should apply.
  9. Using multiple accounts seems to be his modus operandi. On the positive side for him, he hasn't totally scammed anybody that I know of. On the negative side, he has used his multiple accounts to try to get more money when selling. He definitely has a different view of right and wrong than I have.

The Celtics definitely deserved it. Too many of the Lakers were happy just to have reached the finals. Usually you have to lose at that level once before winning, so hopefully they'll be hungrier next year.

Not if you are a Celtic fan! But I agree, great player, horrendous GM. The only great player that was also a great GM that I can remember is Jerry West. There are probably only a few others.
  12. LFF's recent Frank Sinatra and American Pie remasters.
  13. Normally I'd recommend that you save or invest it. However, if you are riding a motorcycle without boots, then I highly suggest spending it on good boots. Here's a story. In the early 90's, I had a crash where I shattered my right scapula. It healed nicely but it will never be as strong as it was and it always hurts a little. Most of the time I don't even notice, only when I really use that arm. Then I started thinking about what would happen if I really damaged a foot. I always use it. So I bought a pair of Daytona Security boots. They only cost $600 in the early 90's. I'm still using those boots so I've already gotten my money's worth. So get boots and any other protective gear that you are lacking. Some day you'll be really glad you did.
  14. The show was pretty good. These guys just don't have the energy of other acts I seen in the last three years, but they are really old in dog years. Stephen Stills voice has really diminished, but he can still rock on a guitar. They finished with a rocking rendition of Wooden Ships, my favorite CS&N song. All in all it was very enjoyable to hear some of the songs of my youth. They are in town next week, and Stacy and I are going. Maybe Dan will approve of this choice.
  15. Heading out to hear Crosby, Stills and Nash in about 30 minutes.

Larry had nothing to do with this championship. Shouldn't you really post a picture of Kevin McHale if you are going to post old-time Celtics?
  17. Hopefully he will want to celebrate. But heck, we can celebrate his birthday without him!
  18. Nobody has said anything and you're already protesting. Hmmm. Wait, I'd better be nice until my cable arrives. Just forget that I posted.
  19. I didn't know it was Justin's birthday. So he'll finally be old enough to drink! I was only going to stay one night to economize but I can't miss this party. So I'll come up on Friday and attend the festivities.
  20. Kind of? I was dragging all day Saturday and then collapsed in my bed at 8 pm, missing the live concert. I slept almost straight through until 9 am. I really needed the sleep. I'll rest up better for this meet. What are we doing Saturday night?
  21. Great! Somehow I missed hearing this amp at CanJam. I'd love a chance to rectify that mistake.
  22. Electric RC helicopter for my Dad. You can find more info about it here. He's 89 years old. I got him a cheapo helicopter for his birthday to see how he would handle it. He did great, so I "upgraded" him for Father's Day! This will be more challenging.
