Definitely you both would both would have fun. Even if he isn't into headphone-fi, he'll be able to find many things to do in the LA area while you are at the meet. My wife and I live in Santa Barbara, a very nice beach town about 1.5 hours up the coast (north) from LA. You'd be welcome to stay at our house before and/or after the meet. We'll be staying in LA during the meet. You just can't be allergic to cats or birds. I'm sure that other people would be happy to host you during your travels too. So that should keep the cost of your vacation down.

It's nice that everybody is telling you what they do. However, what they do may or may not work for you. I suggest that you buy several sessions with a physical trainer, who will assess your current condition and what you are trying to accomplish, and then come up with a program customized for you.

I once worked with a guy (in the high tech business), who used to be in the music business. At one point, he was the bass player of Boston but left the band a year before it hit the big time. He said that JB only wrote two songs, "Doctor My Eyes" and all the rest! I have to admit to liking JB's music, but not enough to pay $100 for one of his cd's.

Yes, he's a computer nerd's computer nerd. I don't remember if the door was open or not. However, he measured temperatures and heat was never a problem. Before he went this route, he mounted his motherboard on his wall. That made it easy to access boards, etc. so he could change/hack them. He's the brightest engineer I've ever met.

"10 Best Bombers" on the Military Channel.

No, the refrigerator was dead and not running. It was just an insulated box, i.e. just a small room in which to put the computer.

Or you can do what a friend of mine did. He found an old abandoned beverage refrigerator and kept his computer in it. It didn't overheat and you couldn't hear the fans. I guess that the reefer solution qualifies as not being in the same room.

It looks like you're headed up the creek without a paddle.

So you're basically asking how much burn in time salsa needs, right? Well, it depends. Is this MilSpec salsa? Also, how big are the tomato chunks?

Looks good. I didn't know that In 'N Out had ribs.

Happy Birthday!

Your BGs just weren't burned in enough. They probably weren't milspec either.

I agree that traffic is miserable there now. It seems to run heavy from 6 am to 8 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 6 pm on weekends. When I'm sitting in it, I always wonder how people can do it day in and day out. I couldn't and retain my sanity. Where in SoCal are you now? Hopefully a nicer place with little traffic and good air.

Ugh, way too often for me. You have my sympathy.

Except for the connections to the IEC socket. Yes, the Millet is very nicely made. -
Did you get the matching stockings too?

Happy Birthday Dan!

A couple of years ago we replaced our toilets with Toto G-Max toilets. They use gravity but have 3" flapper valves. Since then, we haven't had anything resembling a clog. It just flushes, and very quickly too. I'm very happy to basically be able to retire the plunger.

This explains the behavior of our white cat Gringo.

Yes. Welcome Manuel. -
I'd be more worried if the ad was still there and still in "for sale" state.

I'm assuming that you are doing this via email. I suggest sending him a registered letter or your equivalent. This is a letter that guaranties and documents that SP has received the letter. In it, state the terms of what SP can do to make you happy and give a reasonable date for him to comply with your terms. Tell SP that if they don't comply, the next letter will be to the Colorado Attorney General. Another approach would be to hire a Colorado attorney to do the same thing for you. Sorry that it has come to this for you. -

I don't think I'm being kind. Mikhail does this and shouldn't. It's bad business and people will eventually respond as they are now. Mikhail should give realistic schedules and meet them. If he doesn't, he should be forthright about why and give a new schedule and meet that. Not meeting a schedule should be an uncommon occurrence. He definitely should not say something is "ready to ship" when it is not or make other excuses. All he has to do is be honest about it. Most people can handle that. It will be hard for SP to survive this and SP, and SP alone, are to blame. Hopefully nobody will lose money if they go out of business, but people probably will. I also understand why people are unhappy. I was when my ship date slipped several times and was lied to at least once about it. However, I knew the risk I took and didn't complain, at least to anybody but Mikhail. In the end, I did receive it and am satisfied. Since then, I won't do any upgrades or anything else with SP unless I can be sure that I will receive it when promised. SP is losing some business because I'd like to do an upgrade. Please don't think that I'm condoning Mikhail's business practices because I'm not, and voting so with my money. So IMO, the unrealistic schedules and lies about shipping state, etc. are bad business, but they are not fraud. I don't think a jury would think so either (not lawyers) but who knows. We may well find out in the near future. Note: I use SP and Mikhail interchangeably, they are the same in this post.
