That probably works but wouldn't be to code in California.
Possibly the least painful "to code" fix would be just to change out the plain, non-grounded 3-wire outlets for GFCI outlets. It's not as good as having a ground but much better than having no ground. A better thing to do would be to rewire the just circuit(s) you need for your music room.
Second ride today, about twice as far as the first ride. I wore bike and mountain shorts. That gave me double padding. It felt a lot better today. I haven't had time to get some chalk to measure seat bone width, but I'll do it soon.
It's the stock saddle on a new bike, so it's very possible that it doesn't fit well. Of course, it's just as possible that my old butt just isn't used to riding a bicycle.
I'll use the linked video guide to see if mine is too narrow. Thanks for the tip.
@Brent. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi riding shorts that I typically where when riding motorcycles, especially in the dirt. I couldn't find them for the ride. I was finally able to locate them today and will wear them for tomorrow's ride.
@Jose. Enjoy your rides and good luck with the April ride and your eventual assault on the pass.
