Definitely should be considered its own thing. Has there been a faithful adaptation of anything PKD did? Maybe A Scanner Darkly, but there's a long and sordid history of taking liberties with adaptations of his material.

I need to track down that EP's 1988-1991 release, didn't realize it wasn't a bootleg. I have two of the EPs, but I think I need this anyway, because I've never heard Instrumental 2 before (and probably Instrumental 1).
