  1. You're a contrarian by not breaking rules, since the rest of us are all rule-breakers. Wait...
  2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sure, let's go with that. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...

    Yup, pretty much.
  4. First of all thanks for the link. It is awesome, I love the flavour. I just can't handle a lot of it, and it's easier to use none at all than a little. I don't know what happened. Back when I worked at Voice of America, I always had a delicious ginger ale or ginger beer (I forget which) that they had there at the cafeteria, and one day -- it was very abrupt -- I think I just hit a saturation point, and I couldn't finish the bottle I was drinking and never had it again. Every once in a while, I will run into a recipe at a Chinese restaurant that I like, but can't consume large quantities of, and one of the common ingredients is ginger. Which is sad, because it's used in a lot of Chinese and Thai dishes. I can handle pickled ginger just fine, though. The kind that comes with sushi.
  5. I've been making a lot of orange beef lately, always interested in variations, would be interested in what recipe you use. I'm not a fan of ginger, so usually eschew, but I know most people find it traditional.

Yeah, loved it. My only complaint is if there isn't more. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  7. Yeah, it was windy as shit here this morning, I think I may have been given my cold back. I went home early.

  12. Oh, she was superb! I feel bad, though, I wasn't feeling well, so I probably should not have gone. On top of that, I muted my phone, but the alarm still went off. But yeah, she had great form, played perfectly and with virtuosity, and did it all looking fantastic in that dress. Sent from my mind using id, ego, or superego...
  13. Michael Bolton's Big Sexy Valentine's Day Special -- that was the stupidest most entertaining comedy special I think I've ever seen.
  14. The DMV down by me has gotten sillily efficient. I usually take the whole day off work, but if I got there earlier, I could probably still get in by noon.
  15. I saw a Maserati the other day, parked right behind the zombie pho truck. I'll take a picture if I ever see it again.
