  1. Fuck that's tall. Associated twits here
  2. Jeff, listen to the piezo pickup on this (first part), I think you'll find it very acoustic-ish, more acoustic sounding than an acoustic with a pickup.
  3. That's messed up.
  4. That sucks so hard. Uh...yeah, don't get your hopes up. Who is "their", by the way, the fraudulent CC company? They'll probably recognize the signs, but they still have to cover their backs and go through the motions. Please keep us updated, I know a guy whose whole job it is to clear up credit issues. Don't have the information in front of me.
  5. Lollers, I do the Professor Bunsen Honeydew thing all the time.
  6. Book the Beatles! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkNeGDNhYZo Best photobomb ever:
  7. Oh-land: Einstein's Hamster: It's Garfunkel's birthday! Steve Niles has a tortoise named Gil, so others in (and out of) the comics community have been making images which include Gil. More here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icT7mIsj-uE
  8. Very photogenic.
  9. Eye, Center of the Sun So Amboy Dukes. Very Blue Oyster Cult. Wow.
  10. I think it'd void itself if you did that.
  11. Eye, Second Sight -- recommended by the guy behind Spleen Arcana, so moar prahg.
  12. Yeah, good point -- fresh gunk isn't as bad as dried on gunk, I run mine every 5 days or so (whenever necessary, but I don't wait until it's full full), hence the necessity to remove gunk, because by the time I run the dishwasher, it would be dried on. (I usually remove it and put it in the dishwasher immediately.) Also, I'm talking about older dishwashers, which, other than for a couple years in the early 90's, has been my experience.
  13. Spleen Arcana, The Light Beyond the Shades -- progger progness is proggy
  14. My experience with dishwashers is that you have to get the gunk off first. I do all those things, to, with the apartment dishwasher.
  15. I went bifocals. Hardly anyone does any more. If you can handle progressives (and most people can, including probably me, will probably be my next step), they are definitely the way to go. They take some getting used to, some more than others, but most people adapt to them very quickly. I'm still not sure why I didn't. Oh, and yes, it is inevitable, don't put it off. I put it off until I didn't pass an eye exam at the MVA (Maryland's DMV).
  16. Oh, I wasn't referencing (ancient) politics, I was just talking relative to the Southern edge of the storm roll-through. I think I was above, you were below. I think.
  17. Yeezh, John. Lollers, you got a lot less than we did up North o' y'all.
