  1. Some nice sadgirl indie singer/songwriter stuff: Nicole Dollenganger's new album. Example: https://tidal.com/browse/track/268195507 ...but I think I'll get back into Jeff Beck -- comfort music, just the best.
  2. Wasn't sure whether to listen to Blow by Blow/Wired/There & Back, or Who Else!/You Had it Coming/Jeff, but stuck with starting the original trifecta. Will listen to the rest of the original trifecta and the secondary trifecta over the course of the next couple of days.
  3. I, on the other hand, listened to a SHITLOAD of music in the 90's. Also went to a crazy amount of concerts. I was teased about being able to pick something that I would want to see/hear every night of the week. If I might recommend a couple favourites: Curve, Cuckoo and Pubic Fruit Depeche Mode, Violator Garbage and Version 2.0 The Gathering, Mandylion, Nighttime Birds, and How to Measure a Planet? godhead, Nothingness and Power Tool Sigmata Halou, We Only Love You and (technically 2001) Wiser My Bloody Valentine, Loveless Nine Inch Nails, Broken, The Downward Spiral, and The Fragile Slowdive, Just for a Day, Souvlaki, and Pygmalion Stabbing Westward, Darkest Days and Whither Blister Burn and Peel ...and probably a shitload more I'm forgetting. Me: listening to some a capella group called Washinton University Amateurs.
  4. Unholy carp, that's gorgeous!
  5. One of the things I found out, is that you have to be gentle with the flow, otherwise you potentially irritate and inflame the sinus passage walls. I really like Arm & Hammer's Simple Saline (or DIY saltwater and a Neti Pot), put some in, let it sit just for a little bit, let gravity pull it out, then gently purge the rest. Repeat until clear. I hope you feel better soon.
  6. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  7. Happy birthday, Knucks! I hope your 2023 does this to your 2022:

Thank goodness, no. I can still be attracted to that gorgeous Amazon sexually, with zero feelings of guilt about incest. (That's me on the right.)

Fixed it for you. My sister worked on this film.
  10. Didn't make it to see Stanley Whitaker at a winery doing his thing, which is always great, but got to listen to some of his music with some friends as well as some Happy the Man, so life's good.
  11. Alchemy of Souls, this show is ridiculously great. one of the most touching moments is when one of the characters says, "pffft". I am completely serious -- I practically burst into tears.
  12. Andrew Tate, human trafficking scum
  13. Me and my mood: I hope you are doing well with your funny looking cat.
  14. OMFG, I'm crying, I'm laughing so hard, why are fart jokes so goldang funny?!?!?
  15. Was: Leftover Chinese Takeaway (Chicken Szechuan and Szechuan String Beans -- my mothers favourite, except she found a place that would do Szechuan Asparagus -- I settled, but was happy all the same) Is and will be: home-made chicken and beans soup that is super delicious
  16. Happy Birthday! (party favour noise)
  17. If anyone needs a Witcher-themed Fireplace for an hour, here ya go: https://www.netflix.com/watch/81425229?trackId=14170286&tctx=2%2C1%2C936340d1-4711-4a62-8861-14206c51a64a-812994717%2CNES_2117A2A42B1D20308B280A4C043BD4-994911DC4F528C-1DB03008C3_p_1672023404644%2CNES_2117A2A42B1D20308B280A4C043BD4_p_1672023404644%2C%2C%2C%2C81425229
  18. Was: Eggrolls with Chinese hot mustard Will be: Ma Po Tofu
  19. I made soup: chicken, beans (too many, they didn't all fit), chicken broth, celery, potatoes, various other soup vegetables, simple spices (black pepper, red pepper, dill weed, 3 green onions chopped, garlic (almost forgot -- had two helpings before I remembered to add), small can of hot jalapeños) and that's it. No oil this time. Smells even better than the previous batches, tastes friggin' delicious. One small can of hot peppers amongst all that food didn't overwhelm the other flavours, just added a nice little amped up bite to it.
