  1. Hmmm...hadn't thought of that...I tend to leave mine in the google maps app all the time...
  2. Giant Squid, The Ichthyologist -- I love the atmosphere and guitar tones on this laid back, harrowingly mournful metal album.
  3. ...and as a result of this story, a news google for 'hopa' now leads to that story ("I'm feeling lucky?"). But seriously, Farmville? EDIT: Reddit apparently believes it's fake -- yeah; viral marketing, not so much, especially since I don't know what it would be viral marketing for...except for maybe thechive.com. And UrbanDictionary.com seems to think that HOPA means half-Japanese.
  4. Bummer Dan, at least it isn't 3 months between visits.
  5. Dude, that sucks. Sorry, I'm socially inept -- I basically don't know what to say, other than I sympathize.
  6. Yup, and then you're expected to sleep. Haik-ewe
  7. Boom. Headshot
  8. Never gets old: Community: Porn Names
  9. No, the test is to determine if the mask helps (yes, that is a separate question). If it does, then he gets his own. 15 times an hour is a lot. I think I was on the order of, but not that bad. Geez, dude, you must be exhausted. Have a nice sleep, hope it helps.
  10. Lazy/inebriated last night; lazy/need to be working now.
  11. , just
  12. Or you can just develop a devotion towards snakes. Be wary of snake handlers, though. Me: exactly one bottle of beer (North Coast Old Rasputin Anniversary Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout).
  13. Not Hardcoar enough. Or too sexy (excuse me, while I whip this out).
  14. One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the misbehaving that was going on. So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time. When the angel returned, he told God, 'Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not. God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because he wanted to encourage them, and give them a little something to help them keep going. Do you know what the e-mail said? Okay, I was just wondering, because I didn't get one either.
  15. I don't think it's hearing loss, I think it's psychological. So I guess the correct retort would have been, "can't wait until I'm that mentally challenged"...No, wait, forget I said that. I would also presume that if it was pronounced enough, I'd probably start being annoyed by it, so I am specifically saying that I am immune to the etch as implemented in Stax headphones. Grados, on the other hand...
  16. Headphones?[/inebriated response]
  17. It's not that, it's that most of us have settled on our systems, so there's very little upgrade-itits, and therefore very little to talk about. And most of us are way too lazy/happy/dumb/inebriated to recommend anything to anyone. EDIT: Er...-itis. (Freudian slip?) ...and antiestablishmentarianistic.
  18. Hit it, and forgive it, or quit it.[/clinton] (Translation: Buy it and try it.)
  19. I have 202's -- you're welcome to look for yourself the next time you're over. I am immune to the etch.
  20. My mom was the sort of person not to want to know. Let's put it this way -- she's so old-fashioned that she dressed modestly even when not going out, just because God could always see her. I'll ask, but she won't know. I'll report back only if she surprises me. No no no! That's just what I meant by patience -- if you can get past the point of "looking like pubes", it'll look cool. And for the record -- Fu Manchu == very cool. Oh, and me: helped my cousin move. Ate some sushi in the dark, accidentally ate the entire dollop of Wasabi -- I'm going to be paying for that later, when it hits that spot somewhere around that spot between my upper and lower intestines where I wake up in a sweat and doubled-over in pain. EDIT: Also reported a problem on google maps, here is the entire text of the problem: I kill me. Oh, look, there's a Burger King. And Ourisman Honda. And a Kohl's. And a Bob Evans. Yeah, I'm sure all those businesses appreciate having their names associated with 'murk'.
  21. It's one of my favorites. Mostly because it has no spastic free jazz track, which most other pre-1980 King Crimson albums have. But also because it has not a duff track on it. Including a cover of 4'33'. Me: earlier today -- Pain of Salvation, Road Salt One/Linoleum and Ambeon.
  22. OMG, drop everything, watch Kick-Ass first (unless of course you've seen it already).
  23. Benny Hinn is comedy gold. The only downside is that there are people out there that take him seriously.
