How high can the JH13 scale?
The JH13's are better than crack.

Ipod Touch / Iphone
Wait, whut? I totally missed that. They've essentially created a streaming device, and that's it? That's a completely different device. And yes, I have no need for it.

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
QFtehLulz. You must be really off your game, go get some rest, drink plenty of fluids, and have some chicken soup. Er...not necessarily in that order (save the 'rest' for last).

I Robot Chicken. Yeah, that's real, only that's not an installation. It does a trick with standing waves, which is crucial to the whole technology. So yeah, must find pic with enclosure.

Hi, Jax! Nice pix, I especially like those last two.

What are you listening to Part Two
Finishing: Hiromi, Brain About to Start: Hiromi, Spiral On Deck: Hiromi's Sonicbloom, Time Control & Beyond Standard ...all SACD... Hmmm...I wonder where my copy of Another Mind is...and I'm really disappointed to see that Place to Be isn't being made available on SACD...

New Nano?
Yeah, I kind of wish I had jumped on that deal that was posted a few weeks (?) ago.

New Nano?
I really hope you're wrong about that. But you're quite convincing. Maybe, by 'everything', he meant, "what? No, I'm not going to change the iPod classic, that would be like new Coke/Classic Coke all over again, I'm not that stupid". Here's to hoping that it stays that way.

Thanks for the explanation, I do think you captured that look well. And I know what you mean -- one of my music loves is synthpop. And sometimes, when I'm waxing eloquent about it, and talking about its purity, I'll say something to the effect of, "it's what the future sounded like back then, and it still does". "Futurepop" is one of the terms that they used to describe one of the subgenres now, and I mentally always prefix it with "retro-".

No, it's really just his mouth. The circle is invisible. It's like the whole picture, and he's facing left, and slightly upward.

I see Pac-Man. And: congrats -- it's always nice to see someone really doing what they want to be doing.

Yeah, but I'm also a smaller car kind of guy, so waiting for the A1 to be sold in America.- Amazon Kindle
You can almost do that with the Kindle with the speech synthesizer capability, but that's not the same as audiobooking it.- Post the last thing you bought!
I'm more of an A3 or A4 kind of guy (especially the hatchback), but if I were a sedan kind of guy, that S4 sure is dead sexy.- What are you listening to Part Two
Was: Kenna, New Sacred Cow -- there's something incredibly well put-together about this collection of pop songs that keeps bringing me back. Is: Android Lust, Devour, Rise, and Take Flight -- still Android Lust at her most experimental. And where she got a little bit more sparse in her elements -- really nice use of space and atmosphere. On Deck: Android Lust, Human Animal -- added a little bit more "liveness" to the production, and perhaps a little bit more laid back, and dare I say, a small dubby influence. Just a touch mind you. Still quite sparse, so that seems to be something she's going to continue.- Kitty Talk
Yes, I realize that. EDIT: Or rather, I should say, I realized that, as soon as I posted. But I still wanted to earmark the day while I thought of it. Was also looking for the name of the Pipolino toy, which at this point I need to get for Bobby, so that he will stop spending so much energy trying to dominate Missy. He and Luvbug never integrated, he would just terrorize her...without the committing suicide part, so she's locked in the master bedroom 24/7, which she is perfectly content with...mostly.- Kitty Talk
So "Gotcha Day" for Bobby is 8-15-2009. Happy Belated Gotcha Day, Bobby! I love you, little buddy. This has turned out to be quite prophetic. - Post the last thing you bought!
