Jerry is sending me the demos of the 13, 11, and 10x3 for this weekend's meet in San Fran, so get on over there if you'd like to hear them. That is certainly true AFAIK of the Sensa-style soft customs. For these acrylic ones, I don't see why they should have any worse (if not a better) life expectancy than universal IEM's. Even if they only lasted say, 4 years, you're only talking about $100 a year for great sound I know a couple of people who have owned UE10's for over 5 years, and they are still working fine FWIW.

For anyone who might not have noticed my post over THERE, JH Audio is sending me their demo versions of the JH13,11, and 10x3 for the meet. So anyone who missed the opportunity to try them in LA will have another here (and likely in their own rig, to boot!)

So that you don't notice the awful taste? Or so that you don't notice the vomiting, since you were already going to vomit from the alcohol?

I haven't had that problem myself. Are you using ASIO4all and/or foobar? If so, try tweaking the buffering and/or latency settings in each. If not, what are you using?

I had a similar situation recently. Bittorrent is your friend. It's not piracy, since you'd be registering it with the keycode already on the laptop. You can find the ISO file to make yourself a new XP MCE SP3 CD, and have it ready to go in an hour or two.

Sent out the L3000 to it's new owner. Don't miss it, even a bit.

Yeah, I generally use A mode most of the time, with some exposure compensation when needed. The cameras I've used (D70s, D200, N80, D700), have had good enough metering that compensation usually only comes in on highly unbalanced scenes like the lake above. M mode usually comes out for flash shooting. P mode & S mode, never touched 'em.
