  9. Yah, just you get a better phonostage in the rotel or outlaw than you could buy separately for much less than the total cost of the receiver.
  10. the rotel and the outlaw are the only 2 with phono I'd consider, personally. Deal with the hdmi with an external switch.

  13. I think it's just a supply chain thing. Apple is really good at managing their supply chain. They do slight variations of their promotions to manipulate what gets purchased. Same for refurb/edu discount stuff.
