He had a legitimate criticism of your action. You just made a pointless (and stupid) attack.

Defending your actions would be fighting back. Making another point would be fighting back. Any nine year old can make a "snappy comeback"

The funny thing is there's lots of good conversation here. It's only when people who don't pay attention to what we're about show up and think it's just part of some other forum that things get boring.
