Al will buy it just to rub mike's nose in it I just bought a bottle of rvw family reserve, and a bottle of bowmore cask strength, plus a few beers.

It also seems to be a fully functional dac, to be fair.

That's sweet. Did you guys do anything special for v-day?

You're better at english than I am at spanish

I love this album. She's the best person I found from the SXSW compilations.

Gretchen Phillips - I Was Just Comforting Her

Went to work at 10am yesterday. Worked until 10am today. Drove home (2 hrs) in a snowstorm that was all show (poor visibility) and no go (not much stuck). Got home to a gift from San Francisco via Delaware, so now I need to find someone to drive to delaware with me for some heavy drinking.

Happy birthday Colin!

nope Thanks for joining Head-Case. I'm glad you're here. That said, you should be aware that this isn't your typical internet forum. We're not here so that you'll have another place to sell your stuff. We're not looking for people trying to pad their post counts, or demonstrate their ability to find witty things on the internet. This is predominantly a place for friends to discuss music, audio gear, and whatever else tickles our fancy. We are sometimes quite rude, often irreverant, and regularly abusive. Think of it like the corner bar where everyone knows each other. Don't mistake our familiarity with each other as familiarity with you, even if you've seen our names in other locations before. Spend some time reading before you start to post. Get familiar with what is going on, and who the various people are. Don't just jump right into the fray. This is your only warning, but I hope you can participate. There's a lot of good information, and more importantly, good people here.

impressive, the same content as stephen, but 8 hrs later.

yes, very nice. I love mechanical time keepers.

holy small jpg from gilmore, batman

screwing lawyers doesn't sound fun

I can't provide information for you, but welcome, good choice for a first post

it's still beiing repaired by justin, so it'll be a while

Are you new to this hobby? How is that different from what people do with any headphone?

I'll just say I disagree with most of that chart. I agree with the rating for the first matrix, the empire strikes back, and the godfather series.

happy brisday steve

you really should reread this thread.

They can certainly come across that way. Especially when they're trying to curry favor from said manufacturers. (see - I once gave you a good review even tho I'd only barely heard it (paraphrased from above) )

He had a legitimate criticism of your action. You just made a pointless (and stupid) attack.

The Stooges were a spectacular band.

Defending your actions would be fighting back. Making another point would be fighting back. Any nine year old can make a "snappy comeback"

The funny thing is there's lots of good conversation here. It's only when people who don't pay attention to what we're about show up and think it's just part of some other forum that things get boring.

good choices
