  1. Good to be home. A couple of pre-dinner Vespers. Good stuff!
  2. I usually use the Gary Regan recipe Al posted above. With a 3:2 ratio of tequila:triple sec you really don't need any additional sweetener. I am also with Marc in that the Clement Creole Shrubb works very well here.
  3. I drank quite a few of their brews. We walked up the entire way and only after we had arrived did Karen inform me that there was a bus that went up and down the mountain. The doppelbock is excellent, but really they are all very good as is the food.
  4. Those are absolutely beautiful pictures Stretch. The Prague travelogue has been great Al. That Manhattan looks great as does the bar. Looking forward to your Munich impressions. You may want to check out the Andechs monastery/brewery to "refresh your spirit".
  5. I second the Sauza hornitos as a good and relatively inexpensive Margarita base.
  6. Totally agree with the Red Oxx props. I used the Air Boss, Sunchaser, Gator and Rockhopper for our 3 week trip to SC. The Air boss worked great for taking the clothes for the two weeks we were in Aiken. The Sunchaser was great for the trip down and back and the camping weekend at Myrtle Beach. I switched the Tom Bihn absolute strap from the Air Boss to the Sunchaser, which worked extremely well. I will be picking up another absolute strap for the Sunchaser. The gator is my daily carry so it carried around the MBA, iPad, S95 and Pico/HDD or combinations thereof. I was really surprised how useful the Rockhopper was. It made a most excellent beach bag and a great general walking-about-and-exploring bag. Karen even commented that the Rockhopper was a great bag, which is high praise indeed as she is not a bag junkie like us. Red Oxx FTMFW!
  7. Happy Crappy Birthday, er something like that. Anyway, hope you have better birthday luck.
  8. I might just dent mine now.
  9. If somebody sends me an 009 I would be glad to do that.
  10. Congrats Bryan. That is awesome news. I am toasting with some nice malbec.
  11. Ooooh, gin and tonic in a can. The perfect travel drink. We are having a nice bottle of Norton Reserva 2007 Malbec. Very nice.
  12. Cool and cooler. Looks like it has been a great trip so far.

A magical opamp that does everything perfect and better than the last perfect opamp even if it is against the laws of physics?

    You have chosen wisely.
  16. Finishing up some 7 Monkeys coffee at the New Moon Cafe.

Damn, I'm not a watch guy, but if you decide to let the Stowa go, please let me know. I still say keep it though.

I agree with Gene, go with the Stowa. If you can't remember the day and date then you would probably forget to look at your watch anyway.
  19. Me: Three Philosophers in inappropriate glasses, but at least they are glasses.
  20. [Mikhail]The soup is a $500 upgrade. But that includes Cardas silver solder to reseal the can after the noodles are removed.[/Mikhail]
