I'm starting to accumulate a fair bit of hi-res material in iTunes and much of it is made up of higher-bit rate versions of albums I already have in CD format. What I can't seem to figure out is how to tag these duplicate albums so they will sort and display separately without adding a modifier (like [24/96] or [DVD-A] or whatever) to the Album field -- since doing that screws up LastFM and other apps that pull that data. Sub-fields like Comments, Grouping etc. don't seem to be used by iTunes to distinguish different versions.
Any iTunes power users out there?
Lloyd Cole -- Antidepressant
Possibly the album about the compromises and consolations of finally growing up in early middle age. Or perhaps it just looks that way to me.
Pretty thorough comparison of the ULN-8 and Berkeley Alpha here.

Barry seems to really love him some Metric Halo.
Ran a package up to FedEx. Dropped off the kids' school paperwork. Went for a jog. Paid many bills. Ate a large sandwich. Tried not to browse Audiogon. Failed in that endeavor.
Have had that playing in the car for a while. My kids now really like to sing the Dolphin Song bit from "Folding Chair." Loudly. In public. Urr urr, urr urr urr, urr urr urr, urr URRRRRRR!
Last night's Housemartins led to this morning's Beautiful South.
Coldplay -- Parachutes
I know they're now far too popular and ubiquitous to have any cred, but I liked this very much when it first came out and, listening to it today, still think it's a cracking, heartfelt album.
