I hadn't read about the 12" rMB yet but just skimmed a review and took a quick look at Apple's site and the one-port didn't strike me as a problem until I read that it's also the charging port. I wonder if a dock, like the one that Dan mentioned, will support fast charging or if there will be issue charging via a dock while say, using an external mouse (which I always do when I'm not using the laptop on my lap)?

I'll just add that the 13" rMBP has exceeded my expectations so far.

They'd have been foolish not to offer an ultra-premium version. Megabuck modded iphones already exist in the aftermarket so why not grab that cash yourself? You vile temptress. And yes, in a year the community appears to have made great strides towards offering just about exactly what I'd want. Still not entirely sure how I'd use it but the X-Carve with it's footprint (16x16) is finally large enough to be useful to a whole lot more people than the previous 8" square sized models. The reasons to visit, of which there were already many, continue to pile up. I really need to do something about that in the springtime.

Shelly, In all seriousness, in addition to the sound advice given in this thread the only battery that you ever need to be really worried about is a 9V battery. I'm honestly surprised that they still exist in their current configuration. The proximity of the terminals and propensity to short out in multiple situations, including disposal, is actually something to consider. But AA's? Just toss them and forget about it. But that said, we do lots of things in life just to feel better about something so if it'll give you a little piece of mind my advice is to wash the sheets and rest easy.

I've actually successfully employed the kissing technique although I never use tongue. I can't imagine that helping either the speaker or kisser.

Vicki, assuming you have Netflix you should go all the way back to the beginning and watch it. There are some uneven patches, heck even recently they've stumbled a bit, but as you said it's not so much a car show as it is just a fun show to watch a lot of the time. I still go back and watch old episodes from time to time and watched a ton of them when Andrew wasn't sleeping well when he was little. edit - technically you can't go all the way back to the beginning since they don't include the first series but you aren't missing much there.
