At least initially on Facebook they stated they would publish a list of the serials, I have kept up to see if they have or not.

Vinnie Rossi's LIO
For what it's worth I don't read this as a personal preference statement: And look, I'm not here to argue with you about this. If nothing else maybe I'm giving you a little insight into how your comments are perceived by a relatively sane individual.

Vinnie Rossi's LIO
I think the reference is pretty valid, Birgir, since early adopters of the 009 have essentially been given the shaft in much the same way as people bitch about Audeze doing. You like Stax more and consequently cut them a lot more slack, e.g. a ~$4000+ headphone shouldn't require restuffing its earpads on day one to sound correct but somehow you're ok with that.

i'm on a roll... the kgsshv
I'm guessing he implemented the same thing that Justin does, which is simply a switch between the XLR and RCA inputs. I can't remember the exact wiring off hand but I did the same thing on my KGSS Headamp clone. And ditto on the question regarding the shaft-couplers. Those things (even the metal ones) are like hen's teeth it seems. Finally, that's a simply superb build, PIC. You should be very proud.

I care more about top tube length, personally.

Ken, It's not uncommon for the shorts light to flash during testing. If you get a consistent short that's when there's a problem. The arcing that you witnesses might have something to do with putting a somewhat hot tube back into a live socket, but I'm not an expert about that. I'd try retesting that tube when it's stone cold and see what happens.

Ikea Speaker?
Craig, IKEA Uk doesn't like folks in the US so is there a name for the product you were referencing?

Because the saw costs $10, doesn't require software to use among other things?

Deals
Note - one of today's Woot deals is for a Bonavita BV1800SS coffee maker. About $30 less than what you can get it for on Amazon and allegedly one of the best drip coffee makers that money can buy and it's new, not refurbished. http://home.woot.com/

Fuck in snow
Crikey, Todd. We got another 4" or so overnight but so far no rain, which is a good thing. Looks like it's basically over for now and there's no real snow in the immediate future.

Jimmy is good people and not here to spout random, unfounded shit. I don't put much stock in meet impressions, especially given how many tend to be at NY meets but I doubt this thing sounds as bad as some are claiming.

Sweet! I had an Elma in one of my amps, it was quite nice. Bummer about Shalco.

Clearly my memory is a few steps short. Edit - Google says the Elma still has 24, got a link to the ones with 63?

Mine was rebuilt before I bought it and is the older, more attractive cylindrical version. And I'd have a hard time with the Elma with only 24 steps.
