I went from 40 to 46 and it was a nice bump but obviously won't feel as big coming from a 42. 50 would have been too big for me unfortunately because of window spacing and viewing distance but that's the mark I would have like to hit. When the old Sony bites it I'll put something at least that size in the "other living room" since it has a 12' viewing distance.
If my living room could have accommodated a ST50 that's what I would have bought. That said, the 46" Sammy that we did buy is a big step up from the old Sony 3-LCD unit that we had. I didn't realize how sad that TV looked until I watched the 2 back to back.
I can't wait to get mine fit properly. I've spoken with my shop about doing a full-on fitting on it sometime over the winter or very early in the spring.
If something like this ever pops up again on a big $$ item and someone wants to circumvent sales tax (not that I endorse that sort of thing) you could have it shipped to me in good old tax free NH and I'll ship it to you.
We got between 10 and 12". Thankfully it was light, fluffy stuff so it wasn't misery clearing the driveway. If it stays cold for the next week and a half the ski areas around here might be off to their first good start in years.
I'm glad I chose not to have anything to do with this mess. Remind me, is there an actual fracking product yet or are they just continuing to sell vaporware with a promise of delivery sometime next year?
We had about an inch on the ground this morning but nothing really became of it. It mostly rained at work. The forecast for tomorrow is a crapshoot with some outlets calling for snow and others say cloudy. Blech.
Nice looking headband but the rest of it doesn't do much for me. And at least Bushmills right. Bushmilk would have made for an especially fun limited edition headphone.
I don't care how nicely a wallet is built, I'm never sitting on it for very long (if at all). That's simply a recipe for back/leg pain as Haj pointed out.
