  1. Sorry if I missed it but why the hell if I click on an image thumbnail do I get a separate window/tab with the thumbnail image in it as well as the nice multi-image interface? Figured it was getting fixed but after weeks like that I finally tried it in IE and firefox and it still does it in both. Appears to be something to do with the html source. Eg in this post: http://www.head-case.org/forums/do-yourself/476-diy-amp-such-build-gallery-151.html#post326736 If I click one of the two images I get the thumbnail in a new tab in Firefox.
  2. Fancy Bosch Wiper Blades for all my cars as an experiment to see if those blade type ones work better. We shall see. Amazon made it amazingly painless to find the right ones.
  3. Thanks for the PDF Good read. Considering all I own is 800s and 650s I guess I'm in good company
  4. The 250 pack of NeilMed product that was mentioned before from Amazon. Amazon prime to the rescue.
  5. I've been using Opera on WM and it worked fine before the upgrade but now when I hit the link for last page I go to the first page of the thread. Very annoying.
  6. Woke up after an amazing night out (wine tasking->cocktails->amazing dinner) without a hangover. Got dressed and headed out to the bike store for a computrainer "race", I got owned in the hill climb race but then I won race around central park. Then came home and rode 55 miles on the computrainer at home, which sucked from beginning to end. Price I have to pay for amazing dinners. Nice dinner at home with the wife
  7. Agreed. I have placed a call and we will see what price comes back.
  8. groceries. Prepped my taxes today and made an appointment with my tax guy. Using an estimator tax refund is looking good. I am Thinking about maybe a full suspension mountain bike or cyclocross bike....
  9. Happy birthday!
  10. I did some more listening with my DAC2 and the DEQ2496 and I could not hear any difference when switching between the two under single blind conditions. So I've decided not to bother with the Naim DAC or any other DAC for that matter. I never heard back from the guy but considering that this week has been a CF around here I'd say that's allowable. I can make my own apodizing digital filter if I want to hear what that does to the sound in the Naim and the PWD. My guess is it will help percussion "sizzle" with some tracks where the down-sampling to 44/16 wasn't done right.
  11. Thanks for posting the review. I'm still interested but not enough to buy a pair anymore. I'll just have to wait until the chance comes up at a meet or something.
  12. Two bike attachments (fork style) with matching wheel holders for the rack on my Subaru. That way I can have up to 4 bikes on the car. Will be useful for my training camp in WV in March.
  13. That is suprisingly affordable though to use it I'd need to buy a better mountain bike. Like a Giant Anthem X SL
  14. Glad you guys made it all in one piece. Good luck with all the moving
  15. You're just jealous you didn't write it
  16. We got about 8-10" I would guess maybe a bit more. Hard to judge since it was blowing around so much. This has officially fucked any chance I have of racing on sunday I would say. Well unless I get one of these: http://linc.zenfolio.com/p575337168/h26f57291#h26f57291
  17. I shoveled a lot. Then I wasted a whole lot of time looking at folding bicycles I also became an uncle for the 3rd time Edit: Ari that amp looks sweet and I don't even like tubes.
  18. Coming down like mad and very windy here. Pretty good white out conditions as of right now.
  19. You can say that again.
  20. Agreed. That's why I will be checking everything once this thing arrives. Hopefully that is before racing starts. The first race of the season is supposed to be Sunday but that's not going to happen
  21. My buddy's wife slipped and fell on the ice and got a concussion they sent an EMT with a snow plow but he's further out so I don't know what they do more local to DC. Luckily our fire station is a block away which means that the street is plowed.
  22. BBB Torquefix Torque Wrench. Want it after CyclingNews.com scared me that I my bike mechanics may have mistightened things by "feel" by up to 2x and caused visions of snapping carbon fiber in my head.
  23. Glad to hear that your mom's surgery went well. Good luck to you both!
  24. Well the updated weather warning is now up to another 10-20" in Alexandria and DC. WTF!!!! This is crazy. I'm very glad that I dug the cars out. Digging out 40" in one shot would suck.
