  1. I was going by Engadet's comparison. It appears you are correct with regards to Canon but the impending A99 from Sony looks very similar to me as far as specs.
  2. It's cheaper than similar cameras from Sony and Canon. Which I'm sure is what they were aiming for.
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. ^ There you have your answer.
  5. Penn camera in DC? No real experience with them but have a friend who likes them.
  6. Congrats Nate! Glad you enjoyed it. Told you it wouldn't be an issue.
  7. Hope you guys have a great time. I will be doing either 55 or 75 as part of a local organized ride on Saturday.
  8. Probably Courthouse/Clarendon is another option as well
  9. Well that would work well. They have a commuter bus to the Van Dorn I believe. My wife takes Metro but I drive (because of location etc it saves about 30min each way for me).
  10. Rowhouses in the local parlance Cameron station is pretty nice but not very central and Duke St can be a bitch of a commute during rush hour.
  11. Welcome I love it here. Where were you looking?
  12. Good luck Nate! You'll be fine. Well except the blue ridge mountains right? I actually got about 3/4 of the way up mount Mitchell before turning around. My faster friends almost made it to the top except there were 6ft snow banks blocking the last couple miles. It was about 30 degrees cooler than the base.
  13. Congrats Shelly! Me: I spent the last week at an academic conference.
  14. I love my trackball wheel. Still kicking after 10 years. If I was to replace it it would be: http://mobile.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/trackballs/wireless-trackball-m570 I will probably get one for work now I know they exist. Thanks for making me think about it Dusty
  15. Congrats Justin. Good luck with the new job.
  16. Happy birthday!
  17. Happy Birthday Matt. I hope things are great wherever you are.
  18. Thanks for the info Purrin, the low distortion is mostly what I was looking for. EQ can't fix that. I wonder if the price will drop on resellers or not. Seems like you're paying a ton for the finish and wood which I could care less about.
  19. Talked to the POA and found confirmed that our boat needs to be out of the lake by the middle of next month because they want to work on the dam and are going to lower the lake a couple feet and want all boats out. Really annoying because we're going to lose another months worth of good weather. I hope it rains a lot in the spring because apparently last time they did this it took 2 years for the level to return to normal. Having a lake house with no lake isn't too great.
  20. Are you going to measure them. The relationship to the Denon's is not a plus to me.
  21. Interested. I would really love some very good closed phones for work and a stax 4070 setup isn't reasonable.
