Give up any hopes, they belong to the Harman Group, so marketing and sales are way more important than absolute (even relative) sound quality.

IMHO it's pretty absolute. The B22 is a control machine which does nothing to give bass the type of "blossom" and development the HD800 require to sound full. Plus it does nothing to hide recording mistakes and brightness, which the HD800 will portray merciless. With the Beta the HD800 fall into the analytic side of things, which is just "meh", but well, re-thinking the initial statement, it's relative to the listener's taste and preferences, as usual

Impressive case, I like it. How noisy are the PS and the exhaust fan on top? Has it fans for the HDD too?

Maybe not in perfect English, but in decent Engrish and Spanish. I also can say cannula and urethra, so beware Nah, I won't ship anything heavier than about 10lbs. That gives for a head and little else.
