For some reason I have been really enjoying Dodie tunes. I have not been listening to albums or going down a rabbit hole. They started to show up in my YouTube Feed since the new year, and I just click on them once and a while. And I enjoy them every time. The deceptively simple tunes that get layered with harmonies and ornamentation. Then there are tunes like Hot Mess and Monster that hit harder.

God 1982 seems so far away now. And wouldn't it be great to have no foreknowledge of the future? Wife's ideal theoretical hall pass was early Michael Hutchence and I can absolutely respect that.
