My favourite band in the world had their friend Clint Carney make a video for them as part of their Kickstarter.  The song itself already tugged at my tear ducts, it's so powerful, and the video is everything I would have wished for and more:

For those that don't know, or haven't followed Al1ce since 2020 (like I do), it is very rare that Tash goes without her stage makeup.  I think there is meaning behind that choice in the video...

Never a fan of Durst, but I had nothing against Sam Rivers the bass player.  Passed away on the 18th @ 48yo.

Who knew that the Billie Eilish / Cardi B of Israel would have a cool music video set in a woodshop? I didn't until tonight.

I also found this Succulent Sessions video of several songs, starting with Cipi that includes the great line "You think you are the boss of me? But most the time you're my bitch."

 

Nice little post-punk number.  Medigs.  Comments seem to like them.

 

I know they are canceled, but every now and again I still like to revisit the sheer lunacy of Die Antwoord. This was the anti- ritual circumcision PSA.

 

 

God we are all getting old. Jarvis is starting to make me think of Kipling's "a rag and a bone and a hank of hair."

 

I miss when the Decemberists were good. 

 

That's a good point, Rob. I haven't listened to their latest album but I should give you shot. Still, the last time I saw them live was certainly the weakest.

Edit: I just looked it up and that last show was the tour for the new album last year. Maybe I listened once before the show but I didn't like the new stuff they played so I didn't go back to it.

Same here, Al. I can't blame them. They maintained a high bar for quite awhile.

Their new stuff wasn't interesting to me either. 

I often listen to music in languages I don't understand.  I find that if the music's good it'll still get the feelings & message across even if you don't understand a single word.

 

At least the Swedes are still doing punk.
