The book is still much better than the either ending, IMO. Also, the title I Am Legend actually makes sense with the book. On a related note, just added The Omega Man and The Last Man on Earth on my Netflix queue.

Agreed, but for those of us with limited access to movies and books, good nonetheless.

Of the two, I actually like the theatrical ending better. In the alternate ending,

that's the first time they give the others any thought.
