August 3, 201213 yr hmmmm premium. does he mean that he makes a premium for every piece of Shit he sells?
August 3, 201213 yr Starting Fringe from the beginning. Started it back in Season 1, missed a few episodes mid-way through and never caught back up. Now that it's been added to Amazon Prime, I can give it a fresh start.
August 6, 201213 yr saw federer eat it at the olympics today. so sad and disappointed. still have a bad taste in my mouth from it.
August 6, 201213 yr saw federer eat it at the olympics today. so sad and disappointed. still have a bad taste in my mouth from it. wasn't even a close match... IIRC it was 1-6 2-6 4-6. Murray obliterated him. Murray lost to Federer last month on the Wimbledon final. Well... it's seventy some years since the Brits won a major event in their own courts. I'm satisfied, because I like underdogs.
August 6, 201213 yr Seriously. That's some outstanding shit. And that is one dusty lens. I didn't know that you worked on it too..
August 6, 201213 yr I don't remember working on it. For those of you watched the precursor video, you know how they said they couldn't actually land on the rocket jets, because they would raise too large a dust cloud, and too much of it might settle back on the rover? I'm thinking that's what happened to the lens. I'm thinking, "I sure hope they came up with some sort of way to clean the lens, because there is still going to be a lot of dust backlash."
August 7, 201213 yr I know that they had lenscaps on for the landing and they shot the first images threw them.. But you are right what about later when they are driving around (and just the wind storms). I hope that they duct taped a handful of these on there.. then use the arm to spritz now and then.
August 7, 201213 yr Wind without atmosphere? Well, atmospheric pressure on Mars is still about 0.087 psi on average surface level, so enough for dust storms. That's about 1/2% of Earth's though. So close enough to vacuum to get freeze dried.
September 4, 201213 yr True Blood Oh, this show is the best. "It's like watching Animal Planet, yeah? Any second, she's gonna bite his head off, I swear."
September 13, 201213 yr The Met's production of Die Walkure on the local PBS station. And may I just say I fucking love Wagner. Edit - And I just noticed that Sigfried and Gotterdammerung are on the next two nights. I missed Das Rheingold. Shit. Edited September 13, 201213 yr by Absorbine_Sr
September 13, 201213 yr wait! is this a new pbs ring cycle? I have been rewatching my pbs James Levine version for years...
September 13, 201213 yr Yes. I have no details because I just stumbled on it, but it is not the Levine version. That is where I fell in love with the Ring. Check local PBS Mikey.
