September 13, 201213 yr So far, I'm rather impressed, but my TV audio setup is letting me down. I'll fix that tomorrow night with the unused NAD pre and power amp hooked to the unused PSB speakers to get acceptable sound downstairs in the living room. Ears wide open Mike...
September 18, 201213 yr Just finished season 4 of Breaking Bad. Now we have to find the first couple of episodes from season 5, as our dvr hasn't caught them yet. That's 4 seasons of breaking bad in just over 2 weeks.
September 26, 201213 yr Finished Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire a couple of nights ago. Now the waiting for Season 3 on DVD begins. Edited September 26, 201213 yr by shellylh
September 27, 201213 yr Watching - Louie - Episodes S3-11 and 12 --- with "actor" David Lynch ... -- awesome..
September 27, 201213 yr Watched an episode of Boss tonight (great), then an episode of The Newsroom. I can see why people complain about Newsroom, but fuck 'em. I'm not gonna stop watching it. It's a fucking fantasy, fer fuck's sake.
October 5, 201213 yr Author How to Cook Like Heston. Great BBC mini-series with some uncommon techniques. These are all up on Youtube: http://www.youtube.c...r/godwratherror (the beef one is a bit elementary, but it gets good after that one)
October 6, 201213 yr It is my understanding that there are certain scenes that one should not "charge through".
October 6, 201213 yr by charging through, I mean we watched all of the first season in under 2 weeks.
October 6, 201213 yr Anyone else watching the O'Reilly-Stewart "debate" in a few hours? http://www.therumble2012.com/
October 7, 201213 yr Anyone else watching the O'Reilly-Stewart "debate" in a few hours? http://www.therumble2012.com/ So, apparently this was a big crash disaster like a new iPhone pre-order or something. People that actually paid couldn't watch, not just those who tried to order and couldn't. https://twitter.com/i/#!/search/%23Rumble2012
October 8, 201213 yr Sherlock -- a friend of mine fell in love with Billie Piper/Dr. Who, and then wrote me an email whose entire contents were praising Steve Moffat, and...well, he's right, everything he touches is brilliant. It's too bad I now can't picture Cumberbatch playing anything other than that very quirky Holmes, even though I've seen him in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Be curious to see him in Star Trek 2. So now I'm alternating between so many shows, I've lost count: Sherlock True Blood Dr. Who Arrested Development Archer Homeland Torchwood Will probably start: Coupling Chalk Still need to start watching: Dexter Luther Louie Breaking Bad Game of Thrones Six Feet Under Falling Skies Walking Dead Ongoing: Castle Community
