  • Dan told me. You guys should blame him.

  • A gang of people I know and respect beat me over the head with the merits of Headcase one night in Los Angeles.  Soon afterwards I discovered that what they were saying was true.

  • I was looking for people who were looking for information on the KSA5.

I was interested in electronic circuits, particularly electrostatics. Tubecad, headwize and finally here.

I was looking to get drunk. And succeeded.

I read the url in a truck stop bathroom. I was hoping for gay porn. I still am.

(note to Steve I am not actually looking for gay porn)

Followed Aura and Absorbine. Then met KG, dsavitsk, and recstar.

Was a little scared at first though, because everyone was so mean to poor germania, skylab said he didn't like it here, and then the whole beely thing... :palm:

^And I'm still trying to get you legitimately drunk. Though I think we were close that one time in Mike Sr's garage with Sazerac 18 and Jacob's cigars.^

I could hardly stand up that night. Jacob even commented on it. I pretty much feel like shit and fall asleep way before I get drunk. A blessing and a curse.

You already did. In Mike Sr's garage. I could hardly stand up. You even commented on it!

Ha. We have different definitions of drunk. I'd suppose you know drunk way better than I know drunk. ;)

Although, similar to emelius, I've never seen either of you look remotely drunk, even after like 15-20 drinks!

It's quite frightening, really.

I've seen emelius drunk. It's quite a sight to behold and I imagine only happens once a year when a certain lord shows up in Indiana.

Yeah. Haven't seen him with the Lord. That must be something.

Pretty sure I witnessed that too, but I was drunk at the time.

Jacob and John, you guys were drunk in my garage. It's one of my proudest moments. I know this from seeing John reclining on our love seat with a blanket on the next morning. Seemingly still buzzed.

And Jacob, I was definitely drunk during the Kubrick wars. I look forward to the chance to repeat it next weekend my friend.

And back on topic - I first came here because where the fuck else was I going to go?

Yes! A witness who agrees with me!

Although, IIRC, 'the next morning' was about 2am, when Deb came around and wisely suggested we call it a night. Then she drove me to the hotel, and it was all fuzzy after that... wait, that didn't sound right!

But yeah, I'm pretty certain I was drunk that night. You SHOULD be proud. That was the most I'd had to drink since college! It was the first time I'd had Fever Tree tonic, first time I'd actually liked Gin (Blue Coat), and first time I'd tried Sazerac 18. So I DO remember the important things! :)

I stand corrected then :).

I found out about this place at the San Jose Dead-Fi meet a few years ago.  I met a few of you there.  Some of you tried to warn me about his place but were unsuccessful.  The rogue nature of some individuals drew me here like a moth to a blow torch.  Never went back to that other place.
