September 25, 201510 yr For those not already on board, Amazon Prime 1/3 off today only. Amazon Prime membership for $67
September 25, 201510 yr That's a great deal.At least Amazon plainly states that the regular price is $99 after a year.It really pisses me off when I have to hunt or beg for that info when I join at an intro price!
September 25, 201510 yr Just a reminder Amazon Prime now allows Instant Video downloads on mobile. Grab Listen Up Philip for that next flight.
September 27, 201510 yr And I just paid for my renewal a couple months ago.if it makes you feel any better, the deal wouldn't have worked if you were a current Prime member.
September 27, 201510 yr Author They (and by 'they', I don't just mean Amazon) really need to quit being dicks to current customers. Repeat business should be treated the same as new business. I managed to convince at least one magazine of that back in the 90s.
October 7, 201510 yr Author But don't you think that at least part of the reasons customers leave is so that they can get the first-time buyers' deals? It's a viscous loop.So they're just making work for themselves, which increases overhead, which increases costs, which they have to, in turn, forward to the customer. Companies just can't afford to be bureaucracies in this market any more.
October 7, 201510 yr Author Being a bureaucracy is cheap, in the computer age.No it's not. If you have to have human intervention for every time someone tries to negotiate a special deal or do anything outside of what's allowed, you have to pay the person on the other end of the line for their time.I really need to become a hermit.
October 7, 201510 yr Author How is it cheap? They hang on the phone for an hour at a time, they have to bring in their supervisor, then have to hang out for an hour with them...and the answer is always negotiable.
October 8, 201510 yr Author iTunes (gift?) cards -- $100 for $85 or $60 for $50. Edited October 8, 201510 yr by Dusty Chalk
October 8, 201510 yr iTunes (gift?) cards -- $100 for $85 or $60 for $50.Now it's showing me $100 for $90 and $60 for $54.
October 8, 201510 yr Author That's still a discount, which is ... something, but ... there should be a $10 (or $6) manufacturer discount and free shipping, are you seeing that? The prices before the discount are $94.49 and $56.49, seems like you're not seeing those prices, are you? Maybe they're regional. Also, are you logged in? Edited October 8, 201510 yr by Dusty Chalk

Thanks.
October 8, 201510 yr Author So you're making generalizations based on one person's experience, your own? Methinks you should have failed statistical analysis.
October 8, 201510 yr Author All you're doing is being imperious and contradicting what I say, marketing through repetition. I'm getting annoyed, so I'll just shut the fuck up now. Whatevs.
