I think the turntable must have a very bad time there

 

 

I really wonder why the power amps are on the shelf and the turntable is on the floor? Not the way I would do it.

Maybe the other components are full of helium and the power amps are holding them down?

Those don't look like AR front panels to me.  AR kit has its own unique, stodgy look to it.  The units in this photo are very 70s looking.  Probably Japanese, possibly vintage American.
