Craig Sawyers Posted July 22 Report Posted July 22 Actually it ought to be garbage. Shakespeare used the word in Hamlet. The ghost's speech: "Will sate itself in a celestial bed and prey on garbage"
Knuckledragger Posted August 24 Report Posted August 24 These were posted in the audiophile subreddit and there was much cluck-clucking over room acoustics. 3
Knuckledragger Posted September 1 Report Posted September 1 In the parlance of our times ZoomerSpeak, bro's speaker-to-everything-else ratio tho. 5
Emooze Posted September 2 Report Posted September 2 Yeah, such a weird juxtaposition going on in these images. For some reason the single power cord going straight into the outlet is what hits me as the weirdest.
Voltron Posted September 2 Report Posted September 2 Especially with the speaker wire camouflaged on the legs and the table.
Sechtdamon Posted September 2 Report Posted September 2 With cute observance, I can say the listening chair's placement is slightly off-balanced. 1
mikeymad Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 ...and look at those vacuum triangles. carpet porn... am I right? 1 4
swt61 Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 And I like that I could hide my Judy Garland, Babs and Patty LuPone albums in those acoustic ceiling panels! 3
Craig Sawyers Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 That is the weirdest room. And what is with the ceiling speakers?
Dusty Chalk Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 I wonder if Aardvark Sammich has seen this.
Knuckledragger Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Isn't there at least one surround sound codec that has an option for ceiling mounted speakers? I tapped out of surround during the Dolby Digital/DTS era and have been content with two channel since, so I'm a bit out of the loop. 1

skullguise Posted October 11 Report Posted October 11 (edited) Fourier Transform Speakers....unique, be interesting to hear..... Video about it: Edited October 11 by skullguise 3 2
mikeymad Posted October 12 Report Posted October 12 38 drivers not including the additional subs in the back. That is a lot of dust catchers... 1 1
aerius Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Joseph Crowe Audio horns. Heard these at an audio show last week and they've basically wrecked everything I thought I knew about audio and redefined what is possible. The performance ceiling in high-end audio is far higher than I ever imagined and much closer to live sound than I thought. 6
Voltron Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 That's how I felt after hearing Oswald Mill Audio Imperia speakers at his loft space in DUMBO years ago with JP#s. Big speakers with intimate live sound. 6 1
