January 21, 20206 yr Celebrating the one-year anniversary of Asante's adoption already! When she first came home she was so scared she hid in the corner behind the bookcase and refused to come out other than to eat or drink. Now she follows me around like my shadow, at least when she isn't playing or resting on her heated pad.

March 1, 20206 yr A highly strange parrot has been on my shoulder for the last half-hour or so. I had to contort to get his face in the frame: he seemed happy being anonymous, and won't jump off (he is digging into me as I type this).

September 11, 20205 yr Dunhill has reacquainted himself with home, after a week in North Carolina. Silver has too, but she is in a box. I've gotta brush that Pendleton blanket.
