  2. I've never used the F1, but my pal ChatGPT says it's a good price for the condition. This weekend went up to San Francisco or back to San Francisco. Way back. Fun time and with the M Monochrom (M9M) and the LLL 50mm f/1.5 Z21 (focus mid-frame and wider a challenge)
  3. Today

  4. Having a little trashy fun.....one of my favorite bands to see live back in the day, along with a band I WILL see live for the first time in September. The Cramps - Gravest Gravy - bit bootleg sounding, but a compilation of early recordings. And Messer Chups - The Incredible Crocotiger; a fun Russian Surf-Rock-Horror-Exotica band.....they'll open for Reverend Horton Heat, another I haven't seen.
  5. I find the AE1P fun, and so far it seems like something completely different... We'll see when I develop the film. As for the new F1, I'm curious... This guy is selling his new F1 and other stuff because he bought a Pentax 645.

  8. I always dreamed of getting a Canon F1 when I had FD lenses. I found the AE1(p) super frustrating to shoot manually because of their meter displays. No idea if the price is good though.
  9. I've been offered a Canon new F1 for €250. It doesn't look bad... do you think it's worth it if I already have the AE1p? PS: I've figured out why I've had so many problems connecting to the forum since last year... those bastards at "LaLiga" (Spanish football league) block Cloudflare whenever there are official matches. Te reason: Piracy... and I don't even like football. Now i need to use Cloudflare WARP.
  10. Hi Spritzer, Thanks for the photos, do you know the purpose of PNP transistor on the up right corner, I checked mine, it's fzt795a and looks like all feet are connected to GND. Thanks.
  11. Needs Banana for scale.
  12. Promotional stress reliever from a company that makes ear plugs.

    Hi Ari!
  14. Likely the last long training ride was accomplished today. I didn't start out intending to ride this far, but it happened and felt good.
  15. Little bit out of my normal wheelhouse. Drove Alec back to Dallas today and he made me listen to country all the way.

In the cat's defense, there was no more practical way to get on top of the speaker.
  18. "I'm gonna scratch the shit out of those speaker grills."
  19. I don't know what this says about me that I'm almost done listening to it, and I'm still not sure if it's serious or not. So A+ for artiste-ness and straight-faced delivery. Unrelated: have you ever listened to my ..."album"? It's...experimental for lack of a better word.

I love seeing Kaki King play. I've seen her in smallish places but not in front of only 50 people! In SF she draws much bigger. She's most often been quite chatty at shows I've seen.
  21. Saw Kaki King last night, small venue in Southern Maine about 1.5 miles from my condo. She is so good! I described it on FB as feeling like being by a lake with gentle waves lapping onto the shore - at least her mellower songs. Then she would break out into her frenetic playing with body hits for rhythm, and fast finger moving and fret-playing. She even got pretty talkative with the audience. I guess it was her 3rd time playing the place; maybe 50 people there, but they were true fans.
  22. Reminds me a bit of Caspar Brotzmann Massacre, without.....a lot......

  24. Yay Ben Webster!
