  2. Started watching that last night (1-3) and it is good and kept our attention. I'm going to take a look at the other one (Survivors) mentioned as well. Thanks!
  3. Today
  4. I enjoyed that series ,Hope for season 2
  5. So presidential. Bonus round: Define article 5 ahead of the NATO summit.
  6. hi spritzer thanks for your reply looks like yes, the only option is to simply either replace the transformers with others or just get a "direct drive" es amplifier today I bought an old KGSS for a very good price, I think this will be my solution for now
  7. You are measuring DC resistance of the transformers and not AC inductance but it is still rather low for my liking. So I'd say the transformers installed as clearly not suitable for this role so I'd replace them with something that actually works.
  8. No-one's going to take me alive The time has come to make things right You and I must fight for our rights You and I must fight to survive... (Everyone barely contains themselves from headbanging)
  9. Hello everyone I recently bought a Stax SRD-7 with replaced transformers the essence of the problem is that the new transformers have a primary winding resistance of only 0.1 ohms (this is if we just measure it with a multimeter) - there are about 32 turns of thick wire, so their compatibility with amplifiers is very limited - amplifiers usually require at least 4 ohms. You will say that a simple solution to this is to simply add 4-8-16-32 ohm resistors in series with the primary winding. But. If i add at least 1 ohm - high frequencies begin to drop sharply, this is very audible in headphones. Is there any other way to put something instead of resistors so that this modified Stax SRD-7 can be safely connected to power amplifiers? I looked at solutions to this issue in KS M03, for example, there is a "maxim max97220a" for this - but this is a very cheap and poor sounding solution. I will be grateful for any ideas. The right decision would probably be to just throw out the Stax SRD-7 and buy a proper amp, but I want to give it a chance by using all the options.

  11. No need to worry! Trump: “CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!”
  12. Words Fall Short by Joshua Redman (2025) https://album.link/jhxqg6xc93kz7 Example: Second Blue Note release, instrumental with the exception Gabrielle returns for the final track. This is going on the high rotation playlist. Playing with full confidence on this set, and they are playing tight together. Worthy Blue Note release, and the sonics match.
  13. Robert Palmer sings Marvin Gaye:
  14. This should end well. nO nEW WaRz.
  15. Iran says it launched attack on US forces at Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base.
  16. Yesterday's listen's - and this morning. Tiny Things by Tiny Habits (2023) https://album.link/zhq9tcbphnd6p Example: More of an EP at just under 19 minutes. A good listen, they play a strong harmony game, and they play it well. It was not quite what I expected from the album cover, but rewarding on multiple listenings. and More Alfred... Schubert: Piano Quintet - "Trout" by Cleveland Quartet (1978) There are a few more in my queue, but you get the idea...
  17. More room porn than anything else. Via this real estate listing and /r/audiophile.
  18. The aesthetic of the SR007S is a huge downgrade but if they borrow the ergonomics from the X9K I'd call that an improvement. The swivel-cup mechanism is the only thing I don't like about my SR007, and I can see the benefit of being able to replace the cable if it gets damaged.
  19. Toxic CEO: Replacing everyone with AI
  20. Paradise (Hulu) - not what I expected (in a good way). Only 8 eps in this first season, & ep 7 is very intense. Hoping for a second season.
  21. Not Biscuits
  22. Congrats to the OKC Thunder, but I think basketball fans all over the world feel like we got robbed. One of the more magical Cinderella-type runs the NBA has ever seen ended in tradgedy. Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana's best player, went down with an achilles injury 7 mintues in to the game. The Pacers did their best to fight, but without their star it felt like Indy eventually wore down. That injury is one of the worst in sports and likely will cost Haliburton the entire upcoming season. The post game mood on all the shows I watch is totally dour.
  23. Oof. Good point.
  24. This works too: ======================= CONCLUSION ======================= Ultimately, the question comes down to regime change in Iran [the USA]. Short of that, Iran [Trump] will renew its [his] quest for nuclear weapons [against citizens] -- though it will take years and still won't work. Achieving regime change in Iran [the USA] is a tall order, however. Frankly, it is beyond reach in military terms.
