I went on a whim when I learned a friend visiting from out of town was going. A good time, somehow felt even more snake oil heebie-jeebies than usual with obvious comarketing deals for insane cables throughout the show (my favorite claim was "Enhanced Quantum Purification Core Technology" on an AC cord. I'm actually desperately curious to take a grinder to one of these and learn its secrets. My guess? Magnets.). And VAC put a lot of energy into giving everyone amps for their rooms. Not a fan, but whatever, seemed fine. Acoras sounded great despite snake oiliness. Maggie 30.7s wonderful, as you'd expect. VPI room with JBL Everest was a fun vibe. Was impressed at the crossover tuning of the YGs I heard, but hard to say in the room. As always, Haniwa good for a laugh with a plainly obviously broken and rattling bass driver and their magic DSP which somehow multiplies all room gain and phase problems. Wish I took a closer look and chatted with the Elekit guy, anyone have experience with them? (P.S. just a taste from that link above because I can't resist, it's just too perfect) I love to have more streamline electron sharing. Oh, fine, one more. JFC.

A boat battery box of sorts. Allows me to connect my Garmin EchoMap, charge my phone and start my Yamaha motor push to start outboard. Waiting for some insulated terminal knob battery connectors to arrive before give it a go next week..

finally an electrostatic transportable

assuming the parts are stn9360 and matching npn are 600v parts the front end limits to +/-600v. with cascodes you can get to +/-900. anything over +/-600v will damage the headphones. -
So, I've been testing it for two days. It's thermally stable for 12 hours. I think the tests can be completed. I just don't know what the upper power limit is. I tried +-400V and it works. And even at +-450V. I wonder if it can withstand +-500V or 600-700-800V? I saw someone build it with four 400V modules. So, +-800V.

I didn't love their beer but it is another sad sign of the times in craft beer.

You may use the Epoxy Glue to fix it.

Hi Kevin Well, it still works. It's just that the voltage distribution isn't ideal for -400V and +400V. I'm not sure if it's possible to supply different voltages. The sound is good and quite clear. But I think I'll still have to buy those proper modules and settle the power supply issue—there's no way to get +-400V 6mA for under $50.

that is a dual voltage output, single ended flyback supply. can't change the positive voltage without changing the negative. so you really need 2 x single output units. and then you might be stuck with +/-380. which should work. -
Perhaps Better to get down go 380 the other one, no?

So I connected this yellow DC-DC. It can produce -400 and +380 volts from 12 volts. Which is 20 volts less than I need. Interestingly, it can produce -400 volts in one side. And only +380 volts in the other. Funny. Now I'll be looking for ways to squeeze another 20 volts out of it. Or should I just skip the hassle and buy some decent USA S400 modules and be done with it.....

I'm not ready for a new espresso machine as the Lelit Bianca I bought some years ago is still doing a great job, but I found an announcement from Fellow interesting. I bought a Fellow Aiden I have been enjoying thanks to @luvdunhill , and have been receiving Fellow marketing emails. Here is an early review for the curious. I have to admit it piqued my interest, particularly how quickly it heats up. Looks like it can be bought for $1200 with an early discount and they toss in a credit for coffee beans. https://www.engadget.com/home/kitchen-tech/the-espresso-series-1-is-the-new-crown-jewel-in-fellows-coffee-gadget-lineup-170008473.html HS

I have decided that I’m going to shoot digital only soon. I have a significant amount of film in my freezer, but once it’s gone my film cams are conversation pieces only. I can fortunately shoot the vintage Nikon glass on the Df. Thinking about going to a Hasselblad 907x. I guess I’ll get a Ricoh to replace the Rollei. It’ll be a lot less charming. I’m able to get shots with that camera that I couldn’t with anything larger and less charming. I hope a GR meets those requirements. -
Hi, The time has come for my broken SRA-3S, unfortunately I don’t like what I have found inside there Any idea if this kind of slot is for sale nowadays anywhere?

I bought a DAC3. It sounds identical to the DAC1. I’m glad to have the DAC1 for a different setup, so it all works out.
