I have no complaints about the 2240, with the datasheet declaring hFE 200, the ones I have show hFE 217 and showed what I see when I measure 3675, which you also have. I am sure the difference measuring the of the 3675 transistor, hFE for you and me will not be big.

That is about right for a C3675. You seem to be jumping around with what you measure. MPSA06, C2240, C3675. I've lost track of what points you are making.

I can't imagine them being anything but impressed.

I'm in love with the color. It looks good in pics, but even better in person. And Al's door design is stunning IMO. I will build new door jambs out of the same White Oak, as well as mill up new casing. These doors are heavy, and will require 3 hinges per side. I'm excited about seeing it all in place, but that will be a bit in the future.

Humidity is always a problem. We'll just have to try and see.

I actually kept the trimmers on the back side of the board. The PCB is mounted upside down near the top of the chassis, and I didn’t drill dedicated holes in the top cover for adjusting the trimmers. So each time I need to fine-tune them, I just tilt the whole chassis on its side and yes a bit inconvenient, but still manageable. A better solution would definitely be to make access holes in the top panel.
