Well, my new home team didn't quite make it last night. Duke was really in control, making the Heels play by their rules....plus Paulus kept nailing all those 3-pointers. Anyone else see the game. We'll get them at the end of the season when we play at Duke!

I spent most of yesterday watching the conference tournament games and of course watching the ncaa tournament selection show. I think the bracket is pretty well balanced this year and I think Cincinnati is the only team that really should have made it but didn't. I also think it was a nice change to see more of the at-large bids going to teams from smaller conferences. And the biggest head-scracther of the bracket is Tennesee getting a 2 seed how did that happen?? [attachment deleted by admin]

Is there anyone playing better right now in all of college basketball? He's up to 29 points tonight against Wisconsin w/ 9minutes to go and Davidson up 17.

Anyone who hasnt seen this documentary on Ali should find when its playing and check it out. The best sports documentary I've seen. It was on Spike TV a couple days ago and will probably run again.

Never did like the guy but if this turns out to be true, you almost have to feel sorry for the guy. Several media outlets reported him having "an alergic reaction" to the pain medication he'd been taking. Why it took almost a week for that to occur is a bit suspect in and of itself. Now media reports are breaking that T.O. tried to commit suicide. Fox News was first IIRC and now the others are also breaking this. Sad.

Lance made a very strong showing on the first day and I was thrilled that he beat Contador in the Prologue time trial. Especially given that the Wall Street Journal published the same Fuckhead Landis accusations on the eve of the race. Weak move by the WSJ But nice that Lance kept his composure and channeled the anger into riding strong. Psyched for the whole race!

Well, the Bucs made history today. They've never ran a kick-off back for a touchdown until today. Michael Spurlock was the guy to do it. I've been following the bucs since 1982 when John McCay was the coach and they were so bad that the fans wore bags over their heads. Congratulations to Michael Spurlock! And to the Bucs for cinching the NFC southern conference title.
