Anyone else watching this Beau Willimon/David Fincher/Kevin Spacey/Netflix project? They released all 13 episodes up front. Anyway the pilot's goofy ending scene dialog had me scared, but it's picking up.

I'm really enjoying this History Channel short series. Watched installment #2 last night and have learned a lot I did not know.

I'll admit I was moved to tears. And so unexpected...

Who likes 'em? Lena Dunham pretty much just rejiggered Tiny Furniture with a little Apatow assist, but probably the most interesting HBO series pilot I've seen in a bit. On YouTube and DailyMotion if you don't have HBO.

I just found out about this show, and caught up on Hulu recently. The story line is that it's 10 years later, and Mitch and Abby McDeere are recently out of the witness protection plan. Many of the characters are there, but played by different actors. All in all it's not bad. Josh Lucas (Mitch) has a Paul Newman thing that I like, and Julliette Lewis is not a bad choice to play the Holly Hunter character, Tammy. John Grisham has a hand in this, and interestingly enough, Helen Shaver is an Executive Producer and sometime Director here.

Too early to tell yet, but I'm interested. I like Ashley Judd.

This is the third season of this show, and I'm hooked big time! It's just so interesting to me. You get history and personal exploration, two of my favorite things. Tonight is Helen Hunt...off to watch.

This is a brilliant comedy and one of the best I can recall seeing. Unfortunately I don't think many people in the US have heard about it. The show stars David Cross, Will Arnett, Spike Jonez (and a couple of surprise celebrity appearances I won't ruin). It is based around David Cross who is a pathological liar and is sent to England for a temporary job assignment that goes horribly wrong. English tv show. Written by Stephen Moffat. Very fast, witty dialogue. Very House - Wilson, Holmes - Watson type humor which I quite enjoy. Just started season 1 but am sad to find out it only has 4 episodes =/ Anyone else watch it?

I really get off on this, I'll be watching a show and it'll hit me right in the face that an actor/actress I will remember from another show ~ usually it's the more low-key actors that really get me going. Anyone else get like this or do I have serious problems? Examples: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 1 Episode 1: Apparently Julie Benz, the super smokin' hot actress that plays Rita from Dexter was originally in Buffy! James Arness, Marshal on ‘Gunsmoke,’ Dies at 88

I've watched the first three episodes now, and overall I think it's going to be a good show. I like that there's not a new case resolved each episode. The character developement is it's strong point.

Anyone watch the pilot? On the plus side someone is finally using Jennifer Beals and the rest of the cast are interesting choices (and faces). On the negative it's from the creator of The Shield (characters are consistently constipated here too) and every fifth word of the script was 'Chicago' ('That's the Cha-cog-oh way!', 'And that's how we do things in Cha-cog-oh!', etc.). Strange mix between Scorsese-lite action and horrible TV dialogue.

Anyone else watching this show? I am mostly enjoying it so far. Dark with enough violence to keep me interested. I am hoping it keeps heading in that direction and does not get soft to attract more viewers.
